Out of curiosity, are there any good guides to decks to check out post-rotation for those who havn’t been paying attention lately?

I'll look for guides but I can also give a quick meta rundown now.

The top deck in isolation is Samira Fizz, although Samira + anything is very good. Samira Fizz is weak to aoe removal, primarily P&Z removal piles (Karma Sett, Jack Seraphine) with Caustic Riff and 6-9 versions of Mystic Shot. Those control decks in turn lose to tall Demacia decks (Illaoi Jarvan, Gwen Quinn, Aatrox). Then Demacia loses to Ashe because of Frostbite, and Ashe loops back around to lose to Samira Fizz because it can't handle elusives.

There are also some dark horse decks kicking around like Darkness (Norra and Senna variants), Samira Leona as the top aggro deck, Deep, and Lurk. They're not really good choices compared to the stuff higher up though. Well, Samira Leona is great but it's not quite as great as Fizz.

Having never played LoL, I have no idea how her original design looked. But given the fact that LoL is really old, I imagine a lot of early designs weren’t exactly great.

I'm a whiner but the keyword soup of husks and equipment pisses me off so much. Those are supposed to be on specific units! Equipment seems to be dead but now every unit is absolutely huge with siren song. Blehhhh

Siren Song definitely seems to be the busted card of the expansion. Not like other cards in the past that were assumed to be OP, this one just does too much. Either the mana cost needs a big increase or it shouldn't buff health.

10 new cards, buffs/nerfs to a bunch of cards, additional changes to Path of Champions, and a new shop for acquiring cosmetics.

I have been playing on my lunch break because I'm not touching Snap until they downgrade Darkhawk (on principle). I made it to Master's last season with Jax, which means the game must be almost dead. It should not be possible for me to get to the highest rank in a game unless there aren't enough people playing. Janna is a lame effect but oh well.

I do PoC every day and gauntlet/opens on the weekend. Last two weeks of the season I do a masters climb.

All the discord and other communities I was in for LoR are totally dead though.

For the last few months, the LoR team has been doing a "Community Create-a-Card" event. Each week or two, the community voted on what the card should be. Region, card type (follower, spell, etc), and card text.

Well my card text submission won! Looking forward to it being added to the game someday down the road. In case you're curious:

The DRAFT word has been mentioned, sounds like they're getting to run some experiments in the Labs starting in the new year working towards getting a new limited format going.

Unfortunately, the card will have no voice lines. The biggest problem being budget. I already inquired if I could voice the card, but being Riot, they can only hire SAG-AFTRA voice actors. Since I'm not a member, I'm out of luck.

I've considered doing my own custom voice lines for fun though. No idea if the final character will even male/female or even human.
