“Get a butterfly or giant fuzzy moth to land perfectly on my extended index finger tip” is for sure on my bucket list.

I don't know how common they are over there, but butterfly tents are definitely a thing and putting a little nectar or something on your finger would surely give you the desired result.

    That’s cheating!

Sorry, I didn't realize there were rules to this.

EDIT: wow, seeing this after a little time, and especially as a totp, this reads a lot more snarky than I meant it. Apologies if it comes across that way!

Around noon yesterday my second shot symptoms hit me like a brick wall made out of freight trains, and I've slept basically since then until 10 minutes ago. My whole body ached, every single joint I've got, my eyes hurt, my brain felt like it was pressing outward against every part of my skull, and I had a fever of about 101.

It all seems to have subsided, now, at least.

With lockdown loosened, I finally have the chance to find audiences for all the sleight of hand I've been practicing. I've done a couple of coin tricks and a telekinetic pen thing, and boy, that wide eyed look when a coin vanishes makes all those practice hours worthwhile.

    All those long, long hours...

How many hours are y'all getting between the second shot and feeling symptoms? I'm trying to decide if I can squeeze in an oil change after I get my shot next Friday. I definitely don't want to be driving when the really bad symptoms kick in.

I got my shot at 1706 and had symptoms right about noon the following day. It was basically like having a low-class migraine over my entire ass body, but an actual migraine in my braincase.

I wish we had more bees where I live, they all live more inland so I only see a couple now and then when they wander over to the swamplands.

Also, my verandah spiders have all briefly disappeared for the season change, which is baaad timing because we’ve been hit with a plague of asshole crickets for the past week.

I got my second Pfizer a couple weeks ago and barely had any side effects, except a little nausea. I felt powerful, I had beaten all the side effects. Then my doctor had me get a Shingles vaccine, and it kicked my ass for about 36 hours.
Body why would you betray me?

None of you make a good argument for Florida, you know?
I think I would take the shitty cold water temperature over constant sweat, dangerous animals, and hurricanes. Also the typical tea of the area is way better, I think.

I've been to Florida a few times, I really enjoyed it

I contemplated moving south a couple of times

    There are two barriers though
The southern USA seems to have fucking huge bugs which freak me the fuck out something awful when they frequently end up indoors

Pennsylvania has some fucking huge bugs, but they rarely get indoors, or at least in my experience

I've spent time in the south multiple times and every trip involved at least one encounter with LARGE BUGS and or BIG SPIDER

And there's the issue of the seasons

I do simultaneously love and hate winter in Pennsylvania

I don't know if I could do without fall and winter

I play games on ps3 and ps4. My PSN is DouglasDanger.

I saw quite a few gators. But the gators didn't bite my feet and render me unable to walk for 2 days, so I remember the fire ants better.

So my partner has often noted my heightened senses. Not like a mutant power kinda thing, I just have massive PTSD so I hear, see, and feel everything.

I live next to a trainyard. I grew up regularly spending time at my grandparents who had a single rail line that ran behind their house, so I thought I'd be fine.

It's been two and a half years this is a mult-rail switchover repair and pass through yard I can hear everything I can feel the vibrations in my feet and arm bones.

We're going to look a nice, inland place on Sunday not near any rails and please let it work out.
