And now there’s this:

Haven’t yet seen an NFT scheme that wasn’t somewhere between simple theft and an outright scam but who knows, they could be legit, I suppose.

Minor thing, but it just signed me out of Club PA and gave me a banner. I didn't even think to look at just what it was advertising, but it seems whatever's going on with the main page will affect here.

I didn't get a screenshot, but there was a huge ad that popped up for Lowes or something. It was all around the edges of the screen, and it took up like a quarter, maybe a third, of the bottom of the screen. I initially couldn't do anything about it, then it shrunk down a tiny bit and had an arrow I could click to shrink it further before offering an X I could click to close the entire thing.
Fucking obnoxious, and I couldn't click on threads or anything at all while it was up. If that kind of thing keeps showing up, I'm going to stop using the site.

I'm getting the same Lowe's ad Darmak described. Stuff that interrupts use of the site is frustrating.

I get signed out of Club PA every 6 months or so and just clicking the login/join club pa link under the ad relinks it.

It's recipe blog levels of intrusive, fuck all the way off with that shit Lowes.
(I'm getting the ad again this morning, which is fine since I'm sure it takes a bit to do stuff about ads.)
I got it again this morning and reported it to Google for covering content. They'll probably review it as well.

Advertisements for concealed carry paraphernalia feels reaaaaally iffy.
“To ensure your personal safety, always have a loaded¹ weapon pointed at your balls” is also not a good look, regardless of the legality or morality.
