Depends on the composition I think. Methane doesn’t by itself smell like farts. Cite: worked in an industry with a methane gas byproduct that didn’t smell like farts
Astronomers have finally figured out what the clouds of Uranus consist of - and as it turns out, they smell terrible. For the first time, there's been a clear detection of hydrogen sulfide, the gas that gives rotten eggs - and flatulence - their distinctive aroma.
Celestron has a series of scopes, called Starsense, that are amazing starter scopes. It has a phone mount and a mirror and, using their app, can easily guide you to anything in the night sky that is currently visible. I bet he'd get a kick out of that.

When Dan said he was going to get a telescope on the Fire Escape Cast, he said he was going to look at the moon and I immediately thought he was going to go blind. The moon is stupid bright through a telescope. Gotta get those filters in place.
I feel like Shadowgate is the perfect game for an incredibly frustrating stream. It's full of instant kill traps, it's possible to progress lock yourself, the puzzles are often inscrutable and frequently require incredibly specific ways of doing things. (You can't use the special torch on the torch to light it, you have to use the torch on the special torch to light it.) It ultimately results in them wasting 20 minutes trying every command and item combination they can think of. And there's no incredible FMV to help carry the obtuse puzzles.
Knowing a lot of the solutions due to Shadowgate being one of my childhood favorites doesn't help my frustrations, but that's a me problem specifically.

I do like to see Abby on the streams. She brings an energy that Nextlander desperately needs.

I remember seeing Shadowgate at a friends house and I wanted to play it. He asked if I had played an adventure games before, I said no. He said sure, but he'd give me a few minutes to see if I could even get past the first room and then he'd turn it off.
After a few minutes he took the controller, clicked on the skull above the door, the turned the game off.

There was a collection of Shadowgate, Uninvited, and Deja Vu on the PS4. I got it around here somewhere.

Which door?
The first door
The one I got stuck on as a kid
That you need the skull's key to get through
The first door just opened, I'm not kidding.

This ends with Dan discovering a new planet right?
Either that, or he makes first contact.
Like these are jokes, but if it happened? I wouldn't be surprised.

So there's a comet. Big deal. It'll burn up in our atmosphere and whatever's left will be no bigger than a chihuahua's head.
Whomst among us
but is Uranus even close enough to see with a consumer telescope
So it would, in fact, smell like farts there.
Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better

Maybe you just needed the key for something later, but that's straight from a walkthrough.
Again, I didn't actually play through the game the guy just wanted me to solve the first room's puzzle, which I failed.
IIRC, the key opens the big door in the next room.
