New Love Death and Robots season is up. I’m enjoying it, although some of it more than others (like last season). Each episode lasts just barely as long as it needs to, and a couple left me wanting more.

EDIT: Only 8 episodes, and 5 of them looked like hyper realistic video game cutscenes (and very similar to each other). I was hoping for more of a variety of animation styles, but the episode “Ice” has a pretty cool Aeon Flux style that I really enjoyed.

My headcanon Shepherd is a good-looking but kind of harsh-faced redhead with pale skin. But if I was casting I'd be looking at anyone in their mid-thirties who wasn't too pretty, who could do action and look believable while headbutting a Krogan as a way of saying hi.

I can see Hollywood just saying fuck it and casting Charlize Theron, which wouldn't be terrible.

If they are I haven't heard about it. Just fantasy casting for funsies.

    Sophie Okonedo would be excellent.

The fixation on starting a movement and shrugging off risks are red flags. That is distinct from just having a difficulty with grasping or processing information.

Unless it's episodic and just about Shepherd nailing aliens and finding missing pet space dogs set to a background of a reaper attack she's really meant to be dealing with

Shepard this kindergarten class of batarian children witnessed where Saren ran off to should ask them which way he went

    Shepard: *cocks pistol* okay kids

From a utilitarian perspective, with stopping Saren, it balanced out in Shepard's favor, and in that case can we really say he murdered those kids.

    Yes

Didn't they do a Black Mirror episode with user input? Do that. Little Paragon and Renegade interrupts to spice things up.

We recently watched that and it was a lot of fun, you could decide fairly major plot and also there were a lot of dumb fun stuff that could happen as well.

It had the problem where like we achieved the true ending (tm) first, like no doubt that was the A grade ending from the A grade writers room, but then sat for an extra hour just doing the rest of the choices.

They should make cyberattacks against health services come with a standard life term in my opinion. The ethical aspect is extremely black and white to me and at least statistically someone dies due to side effects of an attack like that. Pay the ransom, then track down and put the hacker in a hole forever.

I think the problem there is that the attacks are often international and indiscriminate

Like, the one that affected NHS Scotland wasn't targeted at the health service, it just indiscriminately sought out unpatched WinXP machines

The attack itself might differ from the act of ransoming. Like if they catch a hospital by chance they sure do not demand the $500 in btc that home users get, they demand $100M in btc instead.

Some details about the Friends reunion show have arisen, like Cthulhu from the waves.
Celebrity guests, including David Beckham, Lady Gaga, BTS, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling, James Corden, Malala Yousafzai and Justin Bieber, are also expected to appear.

If I had to guess purely from the list of guest stars I'd say this was going to be an almighty car crash.
