I don't think I could handle the citadel apartment without hiring a genetically pure space dinosaur super soldier to tell everyone ringing my doorbell 'NO!'.

I assume that if you could afford an apartment like that, you can probably afford the space dinosaur doorman as well.

Eh... I feel like outside of the context of an enclosed environment like the Citadel, that pad would have some serious heating and cooling issues.

Minisplit for every room with a backup furnace. Also depends on what roof you put on it. Also if you put it on the south side of the lake so the giant windows are facing the lake and, more importantly, north :P

In my defense, I misread the without as with, because Grunt (or some other Krogan) should be standard issue with an apartment like that.

Make it a What If?... and show what would have happened if Shepard hadn't been there.

I just thought about the greatest sin a Live Action ME could make.

They'd probably make Shepard a Soldier and not a Vanguard.

If they made them a combo of all 3 I guess that'd be okay.

Naah, they'll set up the powers/abilities to be class-specific like in the animated movie. We'll probably even get a "in english, Tali" line because Shepard don't know that there Engineer-stuff.

There's plenty you could do. First Contact war might be a good way to go since it would put the non-game playing audience in the same spot as humanity in terms of learning about new races, the citadel, etc. In the game we had codex's full of information and the ability to just chat with crew members to get background on their race. In TV you don't have that.

My guess is they'll do MW1 as season one. They'll do all the major story beats one per episode (beacon, citadel investigation, ferros, noveria, virmire, bring down the sky (maybe), illos, citadel end of season spectacular).

They'll skip all the random side missions for Kirrahe, your companions, the computer stealing credits in the citadel, etc..

They will streamline things and get rid of some repetitiveness (i.e. both the Thorian and the Rachni Queen using an Asari as a mouthpiece).

If it does well, they break up ME 2 and 3 into more than 2 seasons to squeeze out more runtime.

You know, Mark Meer really grew on me. He just gets better and better as the series goes, and by the end of 3 he was as much my Shepard as Jennifer Hale.

If they did a series though I would really love to see it helmed by a woman.

Well, you asked (shamelessly stolen fromlovingly inspired by Discworld Noir):
"You are the one known as Leltin?"
"Flatly, if I am not, I should demand a refund from the Salarian who painted the door."
"So this is what a Private Investigator looks like. This one was expecting someone more heroic."
"Modestly, heroism incurs additional fees. Inquisitively, what can I do for you, Miss."
"Mrs, in fact. And this one's face name is Carlontess."
"Sincerely, very well Mrs In Fact, Carlontess it is. Suspiciously, what's a nice female like you doing in a part of the Wards like this."
"This one wishes to hire you, Mr Leltin."
"Friendly, please, call me Leltin. 'Mr' sounds excessively formal."
"How much do you charge for a simple investigation?"
"Thoughtfully, I do not know, for I have never had a simple investigation. Tricky investigations cost one hundred per day."
"I will pay you two thousand in advance, in addition to expenses."
"Impressed, for two thousand I surmise I should treat you with some respect."
"This one does not expect a male like you to attempt the impossible."
    "Business-like, what is the case."
"This one wishes you to locate a Drell named Rokayt."
"Enquiring, why do you wish to locate Rokayt."
    "Are you aware of him?"
"Bluntly, no. And this case will progress with greater speed if you allow me to ask the questions."
"You like to be in control, don't you Leltin?"
"Bitterly, if you do not pull the strings then you are the puppet. Tell me about you and Rokayt."
"This one has been a lonely woman, Leltin."
    "Disbelieving, you amaze me."
    "You would be surprised."
"Dismissively, shocked, maybe. But not surprised."
"Rokayt is this one's lover, Leltin. Or used to be. He has been away for a while on Thessia. He returned to Zakera Ward a couple of days ago on the Sapphire, but he did not come to see this one. This one suspects he may be having an affair. You are wondering whether this one's husband knows about it.
"Matter-of-factly, in fact I was wondering when you were going to give me the money."
"This one's husband passed away several years ago."
"Jovially, I hope the poor guy was smiling at the time. Is there anything you can tell me about Rokayt that might help me find him?"
"He has got grey eyes, green scales, and a black heart. This one suspects you would like him."
"Suspiciously, does he have any friends on Zakera Ward?"
"Do any people have friends on Zakera Ward?"
"Business-like, what is his approximate height?"
"This one does not know, this one does not picture him vertically."
"Inquiring, what was Rokayt's business on Thessia?
"This one does not know. This one never asked about his work and he never told this one."
"Observationally, it must be a very straightforward relationship."
"It is as simple as they come."
"Concerned, this is a dangerous ward for you to come into alone, Carlontess."
"This one can take care of herself."
    "Honestly, I believe you."
"That is good, trust is important."
"Correcting, I said I believed you. I never stated that I trusted you."
"Do you not like me, Leltin?"
"Philosophically, I like a lot of things. I like Klixen, but I would not trust one not to sting me."
    "This one will not sting."
"Flirting, that is a shame. I haven't been stung in a long while. Business-like, I had better get started on your case. Where can I contact you?"
"This one will contact you. Be seeing you, Leltin."

"Musing, I hoped that I would see her again, because she still had not paid me. Still, it was not everyday that a beautiful female offered me a case. Honestly, in fact it was not often that anybody offered me a case. Admitting, and two thousand would certainly help pay the rent on the office, assuming that there was anything left over from my bar bill."

Now having the PC version of ME:LE to go with the Xbox copy I got at launch, it's interesting to note how two big differences in ME1 - the inventory screen and the hacking minigame - remain pretty faithful (with some improvements where required, yes that means you, console inventory screen, also controller support/prompts in the PC inventory) to the original versions too. Nice to be able to play Mass Effect Frogger again...
