The dog that was the model for Fallout 4's Dogmeat has passed away, here's a neat thread about how they developed the character based on the real dog River beyond just her looks.
Joel Burgess @JoelBurgess
I said goodbye today to River, who most of you know as Fallout 4’s Dogmeat.
Heartbroken doesn't cover it, but I won’t eulogize her here. For twitter, I thought it'd be appropriate to look back at her impact on that game.
(plus, writing about game dev hurts less than grieving)
(Joel Burgess is a director at Capy Games and previously worked at Bethesda on Fallout 4)

I foolishly bounced off of Prey at first and then after I learned to love Prey foolishly bounced off of Mooncrash!
Don't be like me, be like 3c11953 and Pooro! Just play the damn thing, it's great!

Huh.
The plot of Outriders is
The Stormlight Archives.
Up to, Spoilers for Book 3
The people on the planet first adapted into a fighting force that changed their outward appearance to fight off the humans, and got stuck in their state due to the machinations of an upset diety
I bought it blind but the story beats are shockingly similar. Near identical in some places.
Edit:
The anamolies track to the Everstorm, there's a mysterious figure in white named Seth, your powers are unexplained but you gather your Radiants - sorry, Expedition Force, there's a no man's land made of craters and chasms filled with giant fuckoff monsters you're forced to run across.
I'm not unhappy about it, but the further I played the more I was tilting my head like a puppy.

I played Prey some more, I am at the Arboretum, and would be playing it still if not for the fact that I have to sleep and wake up early tomorrow for work.

I bought subnautica and started playing that this morning, got about 3 hours in and I like it so far
I'm almost definitely gonna get a map mod but the biggest thing I'm looking forward to is unlocking the ability to build a base cause I need a room full of lockers so badly
I have so many water-tight storage lockers floating beneath my lonely little escape pod
I took Dogmeat everywhere. Good, bad, Dogmeat don't judge - Dogmeat's just happy to be here.
A problem was by default he's a standard companion so if you want to go around with Nick or Piper then Dogmeat's gotta stay home. I got a mod that made him a secondary one that could come with you and them and it was perfect.

Not really a spoiler, but spoilering in case you don't want any advice
You already have that ability, you can make a base using just the compartments you have blueprints for at the start.
Just in case you thought you needed a proper 'room' blueprint.

Yeah the fact that you have a room blueprint listed but unknown in your PDA from the start is pretty misleading, I assumed I would need that before I could build anything.

I obtained Far Cry 5 for very cheap. It is just kinda eh so far. There is a very good dog companion that you can pet at any time and who licks you on the face so that is the best part.
Going "I'm am suing these 100 people. I have no idea who they are, but I pinky promise I'll get back to you once I figure that part out."
yea, maybe not 100 at once but it's for when you know people were involved but don't know their identities yet and you're intending to find out with discovery and subpoenas and such. if you never identify them then it's not like you can get a judgment against them
which might work in like a hit and run case, but that twitter thread points out it's a stupid move in defamation because the antiSLAPP motion stays discovery

I've more commonly come across it as the kind of tactic porn/music trollers would use after scraping a list of ip addresses off of torrent services so they can send subpoenas for customer information to ISPs, for the purposes of sending extortion letters to anyone whose customer information the ISP turns over. (see: Steele/Hansmeier)

Apparently California is like, the worst state to file a SLAPP in because its anti-SLAPP protections are so strong.
Which is pretty lulz.

It is mind boggling that they admit they wanna go on a fishing expedition with this thing in a case that doesn't allow them to fish.
What the fuck were they hoping to accomplish here? Utter failure?

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
If there was an option to turn off the "timelimit" in Mooncrash, I'd totally love it but I like to move at a snail's pace and it HATED me for doing that.

Mooncrash
once I was able to buy the time extension items with the meta game currency the whole corruption thing became trivial. I was swimming in currency so I could easily always keep corruption at zero while taking the time to do everything.
It was actually kind of disappointing because there was no incentive to actually let corruption increase and make things riskier, took away most of the tension

You're the plaintiff.
You get to pick the venue that's most favorable to your case (as long as it's relevant).
It's a whole thing.
