Yes, if “it” is absurd pre-tournament over-hyping of a team followed by under achievement

Lol, I missed watching the FA cup rock fight to travel to Portland to look for a new apartment. On a whim we saw there was a match tonight and snagged some tickets last minute.

    Holy shit what a match!

during WC2014, a pub around here did a special during matches where German beer got a euro cheaper for every goal they scored and were literally giving it away for free by the end of the Brazil game

Norwich fans are apparently singing how shit must you be to not beat us, which, lately, is entirely fair.

it should be a mark of shame against the sport that it took 32 years for another English player to feel comfortable coming out

Probably the worst thing to happen to Spurs all season.

    It did. What's the gist?

random person says Liverpool fans should move on from hillsborough

liverpool legend Ian Rush responded with a screenshot of that person tweeting "my mum & dad" to the question "what's something you had as a kid you wish you could have now" and said "And yet you tell people to move on..."

A stoppage to get your head fixed because you got a boot in the head while standing, that doesn't even lead to a card sure is a thing.

The song is equally about football being hosted in England again in 1996 so it technically already did come home in a very real sense
    Second half starting.

I’m worried about Rangers winning - it’d be a shame to have to rebuild the local city centre.

And the flight back home would be…eventful.

I’ll need to see the replay but I’m sure I saw some masonic hand signals

Castore is the worst thing to happen to sportswear in some time

  • PhistiPhisti Registered User regular
yeah, as a ref you didn't put your boot in that other guy's head... so ultimately it's not you affecting the outcome, dumb person doing dumb thing did... but that's just my take as a ref who has made those calls (albeit not at the Europa final)

Rangers still relying on the long ball and praying,
