My understood value of games is so warped, I refuse to buy a certain game on sale because it has been cheaper before.
Not sure if it's one of those games where they permanently raised the price/will never lower the sale price to that point again, but I can't abide by that.
This is me with Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Hasn't been on sale for years. I can't. I think the rights switched owners or sth? That's usually how that goes

I have never played that game as I don't really have interest in that genre, but I love the soundtrack. I've listened to it so many damn times.

The original rights owners suddenly vanishing would be pretty on brand for the game.
As a follow-up to my song gig, I finished it up last week and got paid today. So yeah, I guess that’s a thing now?
When do you go on tour?
...or I guess when can we listen?
COVID has shut down my tour, so I'll just have to release the single online. Once they have their project live, I'll share a link to my part.
Overall, I felt like it was just ok, not great. Now, a different project I did last week is for Macy's, which is my first, actual-known, big name project. Very excited for that one to drop when it's available.

Congrats on becoming a professional singer!
Thanks! I may end up a one-hit wonder though.
Also, sorry if I clog up the Steam thread with my VO stuff. Honestly, I just don't have anyone/anywhere to really talk about it so this thread has sort of become my defacto unloading spot. I'll keep it in spoilers in the future if the mods don't approve.

Having installed the lewd patch to get all the items and characters in Sakura dungeon, its really disconcerting that every character has the same looking tender bits.
But this was a small company and variation in size, shape, and color for over 100 nipples is a bit much to ask for.
Playing this thing, though. I wonder if you could fire up an excel document, map out each floor and corresponding data, then export it in a CSV document to import into gamemaker.
I finished XCOM: Chimera Squad today. I had a rough time when I started the game, had to actually restart the campaign twice. Once I chose a different route, things started getting done, and the squad started gelling together, kicking ass, and taking names! I really enjoyed this short xcom game, just long enough to be satisfactory, and doesn't overstay it's welcome. Thanks again to @ArbitraryDescriptor for the game!

I finally finished all of the ? marks in Skellige in Witcher 3. For the second time.
You're a braver soul than I.
I can report no nautical nasties, although I did see two whales that spawned on top of each other which was a thing.
Thalassophobia is a harsh thing. Arachnophobia and kinemortophobia round out "Why does Kal not like deep water, giant spiders, or zombies in his games?"

The deeper you go, the weirder and scarier things get!
All in all a solid but flawed souls-like/metroidvania that I ended up just burning through the main quest. Main thing is it ticks me off by demonstrating how good singleplayer Star Wars games still are.
An enjoyable experience, thanks again for the gift @emp123

I loaded up Sword of the Stars to try a 4X game that not my usual Master of Orion 1 & 2 fix. Just figured I'd jump right into it and learn as I go.
And it's weirding me out a little. Because even though I still have very little idea what I'm doing, research is progressing well, and my Destroyers are dominating in battle. Some of the worlds we were attacked from have even been colonized by our fleets. I'm just waiting for the big reveal that I've been fighting scout parties all along, when some ships of the line show up to ruin the whole party.

Fallen Order also reminded me how few 3d metroidvanias there are and how people should do more of them.

After nearly two hours in the Idol Manager business, Starshine came to an ignoble end, under the crushing weight of debt, social media drama, and overpriced record producers.
We did manage to have five hit... er... released singles named after FMV games, so there's that.
(the b-sides include: Double Switch, Ground Zero Tokyo, Tomcat Alley, and my personal favorite, Kamen Riders)
TL;DR - it's a fun game, but boy, you better have a solid foundation, or the industry and your overpriced employees will tear you apart.

You can buy its CREO Special Employee Kit DLC for 0,66€ and thus get the full game for cheap.
Rogue Legacy 2 just added its last biome, now it's just missing the final boss and ending but it already has a full endgame with NG+ so it's practically finished if you're looking for a replayable roguelite.

Watching this video and the combat . . . if the first one was supposed to control like this, I know why I was never any good at it.
The classes in RL2 are dramatically different from each other, whereas in RL1 they had one unique ability each but shared the same standard weapon as the Knight which is the basic sword-swingy dude. It's definitely a hard game but you can possibly find a play style that fits and stick to it if you prefer. Also they're adding "House Rules" accessibility options, so you can just straight up make it easier without penalty if you want.

I loved the original but gameplay always felt super stiff for the level of platforming it asked of you. If they fixed that the game will be a real winner.
That is like the absolute perfect game to get when I get a steam deck.

I have no idea, but that sounds like a ton of audio engineering. I'd just play the PSP version.

I’d play that.
