Writing a resume for an internship application

I'm trying to get a summer internship at a magazine. I'm on break from college. i don't know what to put on there because I've never been employed, and haven't really been involved in student organizations. I was, however, editor in chief of my high school paper, and I guess that's pretty much my trump card in this case. That and getting a B in Journalism 101.
Any help appreciated.

I went to my career services department and asked if they could take all my credientials and put them into a resume format. There was no fee apart from joining the career services in the first place. It should state your objective, which is basically saying that you want this internship, where and when. Try that first, but I will try to help you out when I'm not so rushed myself.

I had that same problem when I was going out looking for an internship this summer. I'm a Graphic Design major with no job experience.

List the skills that you have (I'm not sure in regards to journalism, but I'm sure in your class you had to learn editing and all of the necessary jargon). On mine I also listed all of the programs that I was familiar with that pertained to my field. So I'm sure you'd put in there that you know word, possibly pagemaker and whatnot.

Here are some resume templates I found from microsoft office, I don't know if they're exactly what you're going for, but it could be a good starting point...

This one is designed for High School Grads, but you could put some of your additional stuff on there college -wise or at least assimilate the ideas from these templates.

If you need any more help feel free to PM me, I was going through the same process only a few weeks ago.
