Zeno's paradox is just some guy not understanding math.

The truth behind Zeno's Paradox is that Achilles took out a restraining order on Zeno

Zeno's Paradox is also theoretetically rigorous, but provably false in the real world.

    Which Zeno's Paradox

Zeno had more than one paradox guys! The one about the arrows is the bit that is usually cited when talking about Relativity, because that's the one that relativity 'solved.' But the more famous one is the bit with achilles and the fuckin turtles.

the concept of a limit didn't exist for like 2000 years my dude

also the paradoxes weren't intended to be broken down in an analytical sense, they were attacks on pluralism and a metaphysical argument for perceptional relativism

also parmenides was kinda super wrong

Mathematics is all made up. You can declare anything, slap an Axiom label on it and then do a line of blow at a mathematics conference. There's no rules any more

“There are unprovable truths” is more or less the summary

No, it only says that you cannot prove every true statement with a recursively enumerable set of axioms, because you can always construct the statement "This statement cannot be proven by the set of axioms that you're using". In other words, we can prove that that statement is true, but not by performing operations on axioms. Which means that Euclidean math only tells a partial truth.

I think math gets up to more esoteric shit than other sciences because a lot of it fundamentally can't be meaningfully tested by experiment. Which isn't a dig at all, you just don't get the same odd stuff in e.g. biology because it's based on observable phenomena, so you're always starting from the safe bedrock of "this thing definitely happens and we can see it happen." Math often doesn't have (and often can't have, really) that grounding so things sometimes get weird.

Although I'm still angry about the time I learned about the workaround set theorists came up with for the seeming paradox of the set of all sets that do not contain themselves in order to avoid accidentally blowing up set theory. Y'all fuckers cheated and you know it.

Yeah, mathematics isn’t science, it’s the words we use to describe things. It’s as much as a language as English is.

Plus you know, once you zoom in far enough girls (this should say fields, but it is a very funny autocorrect) stop being a thing and just turn into gauge bosons.
