remains to be seen how things shake out with holox, but chloe's growth has been pretty explosive, worth noting that she hit 500k in 5 days (for reference, irys and gura's speedruns were 7 and 13 days from debut)
I have a theory around how the sub purges affect sub growth velocity that would explain why Chloe blew past Laplus, but a few more weeks need to go by before there's enough data for me to know for sure.
Chloe's English karaoke was amazing, especially considering she said in an earlier stream she studied English for "3 months" before debuting. Whatever course of study she did, whoever else has that as a goal in JP Hololive should copy the heck out of it.
Chloe enjoys several english-speaking musicians. Singing doesn't strictly depend on understanding.
The way she's speaking to the English speaking audience is dramatically more on point than a number of members who basically can't communicate anything without DeepL. I'm not saying she's mastered it, but it's impressive if 3 months really is the extent of it.
Going through Finana's Yakuza 0 playthrough, and when she's playing shogi the pieces have western letter annotations? The Xbox PC game pass version of the game doesn't have this. Really should pick up the steam versions of the Yakuza games then.

she makes her own models with a preposterous and ever-growing number of custom animations and outfits
if you want to watch a vtuber solely for what they're doing from a technical standpoint, you should look into her
alternatively if you want some examples outside of the anime style mold, I'm gonna recommend kris yim (aka chester the otter) and honey goblin, both of whom also make their own models

Back when it was revealed that Ame basically set up and paid for the entire HoloEN chibi VR event I read a comment somewhere that was like "wow, it's like Ame is running her own agency!"
And it's like... I wonder if that's her long-term goal, actually.

This was never "revealed" or "confirmed" it was someone making a reddit post assuming that was the case based off of a line in the credits and then people ran with it as fact

I think Projekt Melody and Zentreya would be good examples of really well done technical vtuber stuff.

Personal list of "best rigged avatars":
1. Anyone rigged by keffiy, who I personally would consider the best overall rigger in the business. Every single one keffiy puts out is incredibly good (Kiara, Ollie, Kronii, Veibae, Iroha, etc.), despite working with different artists.
2. A close second IMO would be TheArtGun, who has rigged for Snuffy, Nyanners, Ironmouse, AiCandii, Veibae, Girl_DM, among others. The only reason I rate keffiy higher is because TheArtGun has a distinct rigging style that can be apparent if you know what to look for, whereas keffiy does a crapload of personalization that makes all of them look unique.
3. Snuffy - She's kind of the exception in that every single one of her models is extremely well-done, despite them being handled by different riggers and different types (2D/3D). The mouth tracking from her first raccoon model is still far beyond anybody else's. DyaRikku had a stream of her rigging the booba model:
4. Projekt Melody - Her 2D model has a good smug aura, but her 3D model is still incredibly good. It's not just because she uses it on CB - her model shows off her goofball nature really well, and even the glitches (she has a hilarious issue with lazy eye on her model sometimes) just enhance the adorableness:
5. Zentreya - Her model isn't as flexible as Mel's (for obvious reasons), but something about her standard model, her gecko form, TTS, and Twitch chat all combine for comedy.
