Guys, Ditto IS in that little patch o' grass just east of Canalave, right?
Because I've been trying to Pokeradar it for like 45 minutes now, and every time one of the nifty patches of grass shows up it's just a Gastrodon.
i got mine in the patch of grass right to the east of canalave, between the town and the water, south of some dude with yellow hair and it's right below a 4-spot for planting berries
how many rare candies are advised in order to check IVs for a bred pokemon (ie, for comparing pokemon, what level is solid for comaprison, 5,10,20?)
I've been messing around with large chains and shinies, but the rules seem simple:
1) Buy lotsa repel
2) Stand in the middle of a large grass patch
3) Use radar, take note of the 'type' of rustle
4) KO Pokemon, don't let it flee. Don't run.
5) Walk to next same-type rustle
6) If you don't see one or aren't sure, charge up your Radar and give it another go
7) Be like me and start freaking out when you still don't get a shiny after a chain of 45
8) Don't save/power off.. just plug in the DS and shut it to avoid breaking the chain
