I'm missing:
Whismur
Loudred (the one that I've seen)
Exploud
Magmortar
Electivire
I have magmarizers but I haven't made the trade yet. I'm using a Butterfree/Meowth combo to try and steal some electirizers right now. The other three are on Emerald and I can trade them over tomorrow.
Can Kingdra survive long enough to get Rain Dance up?
In my team I'm solidly betting no. That's why Lickilicky raindances first.
So I probably need someone who's a little beefier coming out first? Any recommendations? I'm trying to avoid using Pokemon you see a lot and ones that have lots of weaknesses (though I don't know if I'll be able to do that in the long run). For example I picked Kingdra since its only weakness is Dragon.
If the line between you and a patch of grass isn't horizontal or vertical, you need to use distance formula/Pythagorean Theorem to determine how many units away from you that patch of grass is. Counting will not get you this number.
jack master i can get you one in a while if you don't mind waiting, i have to finish seeing which of these chanseys is the best, and then i'd have to breed my torterra
by my calculation, the soonest i will be done with the chansey thing would be about 15 minutes
feedback on Battle Tower crew (would love to go 100+)... will be changing items as I acquire BP... also tried to use as few TMs as possible (a couple easy chain breeds provide 2 moves for Garchomp and Empoleon). All in all, pretty straight forward.
jolly Garchomp @ Leftovers
Dragon Claw
Crunch
Earthquake
Rock Slide
modest Empoleon @ Shell Bell?
Aqua Ring
Ice Beam
Surf
Substitute
adamant Medicham @ ???
Meditate (the book I have has 2 Meditates... does anyone know if this is the one that raises Attack?)
Recover
Fire Punch
Thunder Punch
edit: I'm pretty flaky on Medicham... I already have a male with Ice/Fire/Thunder Punch and Psycho Cut. Might trade out something for Psycho Cut

Obviously I don't have Darkrai and co yet.

I have an Electivire I could trade you Taya.
I've actually got a chain going now. Finally.
I already have a few Ditto, I'm just trying to catch all the different natures.

gotcha gotcha
Normal wiggle, which means it's something that usually shows up in the grass.
Flashy wiggle, which means it's something that doesn't usually show up in the grass.
Crazy-ass rainbow wiggle, which means it's shiny.

Also, the farther away the patch of grass is, the more likely it is that that's a chained Pokemon.
...Is it wrong that I'm using the Pythagorean Theorem to figure out which patches of grass on diagonals are farthest away?

you could just
count

not exactly, if the hypotenuse distance is what counts, step count doesnt really matter
the hypotenuse for 4 steps left and 4 steps up is smaller than grass that is 2 steps left and 6 steps up
2rad8 vs 2rad10 respectively
EDIT: is there a way to organize all of your items automatically, as opposed to manually
because
OH MY GOD GREEN BEAR

i can trade a slakoth, turtwig, ralts, chansey, cranidos, and various other things for any of the above
Would anyone be willing to trade me a Garchomp just to get him on my Pokedex than I will trade him right back?
that's true, I should have done it that way, but it's one of those things
Are you using a Lucky Egg? That speeds things along.
I've got an extra drifloon and stantler you can have. I'll take a ralts and maybe a kanto/johto/hoenn starter if you have any spare.
