Considering you’re just supposed to run into people in a considered measure, you being the dude who starts swinging elbows means you’re guaranteed to be ejected from the pit quickly and probably violently before you hurt someone
Pits aren’t for hitting people, unless you’re in one of the godawful punk ones full of drunk assholes.
I have a very strong fight or flight reaction and in a mosh pit flight isn't really an option.
Hence I stay the hell away from mosh pits because I don't want my dumb monkey brain to override and take away my personal agency.
Also I'm 40 now and not in great shape so there's no way I'm even going to be on the floor at a show where there's even a chance of a pit forming.

Like seriously I'm going to Ghost and Volbeat in February and one of the people wanted to get pit tickets and the only reason I didn't reply to the group text with "Hahaha, no. Fucking no. Not happening." is because his wife immediately replied "We're not getting fucking pit tickets, we're almost 40."

We have had an off-site storage unit because apartments often don't come with basement/attic storages anymore because they realized they could remove those and still charge the same amount of rent.
New apartment does have a small storage though so I've been sorting a lot of things to get rid of the off-site storage unit. As a part of that process I yesterday stepped down to half the size. The rent for the new unit was gonna be 1500 SEK per the website. But when I signed it was 1900 because of the insurance they don't put online. Okay I guess and signed it. Now the bill came and it's 1900+300 insurance so 2200. And I check the website again and now the listing price is 1400.
