I had a general sense that weird complex things were happening in this game, and needed something wacky and spy sounding as a cover

Should have just told me you were Mafia so I could kill you last.

I would like to personally apologize to @Xaquin who is actually wonderful and lovely. My personal objective was to not reveal my objective, but to get someone to reveal theirs to me and sabotage it.

Xaquin revealed theirs as just having fun, so I decided to call them names and vote for them to make the game less fun, thus ruining this objective!

My personal secret objectives were to kill discrider without Gizzy knowing and to be the first person to vote out a CRIMES member.

I obviously shared too much info with my faction, because I was planning on using mamawolf to kill discrider

I continue not to know. I had Russian objectives, don't tell anyone your personal, ruin someone else's personal.

Which is just outright sociopathic. Also, pretty difficult given most of these objectives were ones I couldn't affect.

E: With Bucketman having it too, it sounds like we Russians were spoiler agents.

    Like @Bucketman @Xaquin
Endless should have sent you two PMs, one that was the Russian group chat, and a second PM to just you with your personal objectives.
Presumably there is a Russian passcode in those somewhere

(This is a very complex game to have been dropped into as a first phalla. Usually you get one PM saying 'you are good, kill bad' or 'you are bad, here are your buddies, kill good'

I had no passcode and my personal objective was to 'have fun'

but since I got super confused immediately I think I maybe wasn't cut out for this one

    still fun to see though!

As soon as mamawolf verified Austin 's code, she was getting voted out though.

We also came to an understanding day 1 until she told me she was hot day 2 so.
Please do not tell me you are mafia, unless I'm forced to protect you anyway.

I do appreciate that Endless took his random relationship generation post from the Zero-X racing phalla and turned it into an entire game.

  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
    But yeah.
Austin's code, the one I gave mamawolf to identify, was meant to identify hot agents to Austin.
Not sure how it was meant to work exactly.

I could convert one person to have the new goal of keeping me alive at all costs - bonus points if I converted a hot agent but I just converted 3clipse day one based on how voting went down - thought they'd live for awhile

It was me! I got converted! I was really excited to play it out.

Previously I had been an American agent with several code phrases to connect with deep cover American agents, like discrider. My personal objectives were to claim to be from a different country every day, and to pick a secret twin and ensure they survived (I picked Alegis since they had loudly proclaimed they were a neutral and I figured that'd be an easy person to have remaining alive).

I say we open up. I don't feel it's fair that only some of us got to get up to shenanigans without everyone knowing what those shenanigans were.

I was a Chinese double agent posing (and originally masoned) as a European, whose win condition was to survive the game with my ex (Locus) and also connect with my fellow Sino-agents. Also, I had a guard power, which I was mainly using on Locus for now. Earlier today, I connected with MrPaku, who knew our secret passphrase (though he did claim the version he had was slightly different than mine, but close enough, so who knows?)

Hey, I was you except reversed! And had to keep my ex Green alive.

I had a guard, and had to keep Infidel alive. Guarded him N1 and look at that, mafia double tapped him and he died anyway. Pretty damn lame imo. Guard Infidel, yeah right!

Between that and the passphrase stuff I was feeling a little setup to fail, but still, loved the obvious complexity of the game. Would have liked to see it play out.

Looks like another one of the double agents, although interesting the "lover" to keep alive was also a double agent this time? Probably just straight random, then.

I can only imagine your annoyance at receiving a role PM with an objective of "keep Infidel alive"

There was a definite moment of "well that's not happening". And then N1 results came in and it was "yup, as expected".

I assume the mafia had 2 attacks and they stacked them on Infidel D1?

I was indeed a member of CRIMES.

But my role was Potential Traitor.

My objective was to discover and ruin the objective of another member of CRIMES. If I met my objective I could, at any time, leave CRIMES and become a cool agent.

When blahmcblah revealed that their objective was to keep JusticeforPluto alive, I made a deal with MamaWolf to use her kill on him.

My plan was to stick with CRIMES unless the whole operation fell apart, or if I was revealed as a hot agent.

Then I also started the game with the black box. And it had a button. How could I not push the button? I genuinely do not know if it was a bomb or not. But it was probably a bomb.

Yeah, confirmed my guard succeeded. The guard power said it would not block a second assassination in the same night. So I assumed 2 mafia attacks stacked up.

If mafia attack was just unblockable that def is pretty lame. Especially since mamawolf's attack was also unblockable? Were there any blockable attacks at all? lol

I'm thinking someone else must have fired at Infidel.
So the mafia probably got lucky there.

If my teammates had pressed me about what my objectives were, since I wasn't supposed to share my objectives: I was prepared to lean in hard with oh I'm supposed to continue with having folks search for the black mamba and help me avoid agent mangos even though these people are not real. And then I wonder what that would have spawned as far as trying to "ruin" my objective.

So yeah I was a Hot Agent but had no idea of any other Hot Agents.

I had a *one time* ability to shoot someone in which case I used on Justicforpluto to gain Alliance with Locus.

My objectives were survive till the end, change my vote to another player one time every day, and make sure my old flame SLyM survived.

I also had an ability that if someone gave me any code I wouldn't have a response, but I would get to know their alligience.

I jumped the gun too soon and shared I was Hot when I should've attempted to just play the quiet game. I like to talk too much.

Probably would have been a good play to claim the vig.
Your kill wasn't specifically aligned, the mafia was in contact with you and it would've moved today's vote.

    So in all

    The good:
Double agents in spy factions with code words
Personal objectives to guard/kill random people
    THE BOX

    The bad:
Mafia not in mason groups or with any way to infiltrate.
Mafia not even in their own mason groups and random neutrals. May have been okay if the mason groups were not so large and there were a large number of cool/hot/neutral agents out 'in-the-cold'. Still feels bad to not have anyone to talk to.
Personal objectives to specifically sandbag other people's objectives
Conversions of hot to cool agents. What.

I had a very good time, but I can see how others may not.
And it seems -pretty hard- for the host to maintain and for new players to parse.

Thanks for hosting @Endless_Serpents and hope you come good soon.

Did you have to get a response? My "ruin an objective," points were dependent on ghosting you.

It was a weirdly difficult one, I thought.

I don't think so, just said private message everyone. If you didn't respond, I wouldn't have noticed with 30 pms going out!

i also was tipped off that one of the people who knew the phrase was russian, and one was american.
i also had a secret personal objective to start the vote on one of those two and get them voted out?!

and i was a mason. wild! absolutely wild. loved the spice level on this design.
