Oh yeah. I've generally had the options for Ultimate set up to pick from the instrumental versions of the various main themes while on the character select screen.
Day 3 - "If somehow the lord gave me a second chance..."
On the second day, the fighters chose to eliminate the highly talkative discrider. While it's true that Joel Miller (from the Last Of Us) can use a machete, that's not a sword, and they certainly aren't anime-styled. Perhaps third time's the charm?
Due to a comedy of errors that included bizarre group-think and people being in the wrong place at the right time, once again all attempts to kill have failed.
2nd Match Results
Group A: Auralynx, Bucketman, discrider, & Locus
Locus placed 1st, earning $3 coins
Auralynx placed 2nd, earning $2 coins
Bucketman placed 3rd, earning $1 coin
discrider was voted out before the match
Group B: Calica, Lucedes, mrpaku, & Wildcat
Lucedes & Wildcat won, earning $3 coins each
Calica received a bye, but mrpaku would've lost either way so his stock is reduced to 2
Group C: kime, MamaWolf, premium, & SeGaTai
kime & premium won, earning $3 coins each
MamaWolf & SeGaTai lose 1 stock each as a result (both down to 2)

When this is over premium, explain the fighting part of this game to me as I thought I had an idea on how it works, then I just came in 3rd

I think it works that premium is some kind of overpowered always winning mafia superhero. How else could he make a mockery of me? I don't mind sharing that I had type advantage in my fight and everything!
Its possible that this is a mafia are superpowered fighters game instead of a traditional mafia have a kill game. Has H3k run a game before?
The alternative, that I am a terrible fighter is unthinkable so we just won't go there. I won a tournament once!

Basically you get more dice to roll based on stage, circumstances and matchup. Only the highest roll counts. premium may just be riding good luck but more likely has been put in favorable matchups.

I didn't mean that in a bad way, if you had hosted before I was just going to check to see what you ran the game like in the past.

If I'd taken time to test things out beforehand, I might've used a sum of die rolls, or some other resolution system. If nothing else, this system makes ties a lot more likely, and they aren't really in the spirit of Smash Bros.
But I chose the 'dice pool, but only your best roll counts' system because having advantage does help by giving you more chances, but even a player who is only rolling 1 die still has a real chance at winning even against someone with 12 rolls. This way if the various mechanics aren't balanced particularly well, it doesn't matter as much. Also, randomness is in the spirit of Smash Bros.

I'm assuming premium has a stance that gives them an advantage and also has been able to use it to win.
I have one that gives me advantage but it's obviously failed me miserably yesterday
I'm open to someone else if I've missed something.
A certain amount of that, I'm sure, is in the spirit of enjoying it while it lasts.
I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) the air of invincibility is whatever advantage they have paired with the stages they have gotten
So I'm going to follow the trends, because I am not a trendsetter, and go Premium
I think someone said something yesterday, not sure how serious they were, but still now got weirdy vibes.
