I do kinda feel for Kerr there - Steph is (technically) a coaching nightmare, especially for a shooters coach. Just a whole arsenal of things you shouldn't encourage but can't actually stop because Steph doesn't miss. Hours of wasted game film where every play ends "and this is where Steph takes a very silly shot that goes in anyway"
Same for Dame really, with the added bonus of "and this is where Dame passes to an open teammate like we want him to, instead of taking a silly shot, and the open teammate bricks it"
Eh, coaches have not just accepted but begun scheming around Steph’s and Dame’s ranges because there’s so much offensive advantage not just from their own shots but from how they expand how much court the defense has to cover by like 40%

Yes but a one legged runner at 25ft is exactly the kind of shot you should criticize 99% of players for taking. Steph and Dame being exceptions has to have a decent slice of real estate in their coaches' heads at all times
Yes. They pretty much picked up where they left off last season before injuries hit but also Miles Bridges took a huge leap and is averaging 26ppg and has gone for 30+ in three of five games so far.

I managed to watch last night since they were playing the Heat. Bridges is very impressive.

In an alarming trend that is going to give me an aneurysm this season, we've already seen two nights this year where post-game Lakers commentary is proudly stating Can You Believe Melo Was Gathering Dust Until We Called?

LaMelo had had a few down games unfortunately, especially last night.
Watching Hawks/Nets and it's striking how much smoother the game feels with the rule change. Seems like the guys have mainly adapted and outside of a few instances, like Trae pulling up short, realizing in midair that he's not getting the call, and tossing a super awkward pass, they're all just playing ball.
Now if they can just get rid of fouling to stop the fast break....

They really should. Its so easy too, just make it a clear path. Get rid of the lawyerish definition as it is now and just define it in a similar way to "intentional foul to stop a fast break away from the basket". They showed with this "non basketball motion" rule that they can allow actual human judgement into officiating and it can make things better. No one needs to spend 6 minutes staring at a replay to determine if a guy's back heel was a millimeter beyond another guys front fingernail.

Hah, I posted that right before the clear path review early in GS/CHAR and my first thought was whatever they do to fix it please don't botch it with a review like that.

Cavs defense is legit. They can't rely on hitting 50% of their threes every game but they can rely on being a nightmare in the paint with Allen and Mobley's length. Mobley has scored in double digits in all but one game so far this season. He looks like the best pick the Cavs have made since Kyrie. I can see him making a few All-Star teams in 2-4 years when he gets a little more muscle on him.

Houston is going to look really dumb as hell not picking Mobley. Green was Great in "The D-Leauge", but we all know those leauge's guard's, 15 minutes of fame, go away real quickly.
Lol Houston. And Great for Cleveland.

The Sarver/Phoenix details have dropped and considering what Sterling got drop-kicked for, I can't fathom how Silver does anything different this time around.

I love this team so much
It was a really fun game tonight.
Quadruple double as they blow 26 point lead to Thunder and lose.

Just grabbed Kyle Lowry off of the waiver wire
Does your league award points for juicy booties
JB’s? Of course
Wait, are the hornets worth watching this season?

I do not envy anyone defending him.
Oh shit!!!
