Most of the really crazy 4 stars are early characters. I can't imagine they'll ever create anything like Bennett again.

This game is actually Bennet impact. He's the only SSS tier in the game, and the top of many tier lists over every 5 star, especially for whales into speedruns where he's completely mandatory, but even for f2p.
It's at the point where they have to design content and new characters that don't work with Bennet. He literally shapes the meta, and design, of everything new.
Sadly he is still not Amber.

(PSN: Morninglord) (Steam: Morninglord) (WiiU: Morninglord22) I like to record and toss up a lot of random gaming videos here.
The reason we'll never get to toggle Constellation effects is purely because Mihoyo wants people to C6 Bennett to nerf him so they don't have to do it themselves and face that monster backlash.

If this wasn't a gacha game they would've had nerfed Bennett ages ago. Even as a gacha game I think they might be better off in the long run to nerf him now and take the backlash but I guess they'd rather just ignore his OPness. His single redeeming factor is that he is a support instead of main dps which means people still want 5* dps characters.

Can't you just not apply the final constellation?

Funny enough, Bennet was actually the first four star I ever pulled back like a week into the game on the beginner banner, and I managed to get two copies somehow. I remember looking up a tier list since I had no idea what the characters did and he was ranked at a C because he was pyro but not as much dps as Diluc. I was disappointed, but still put him in the party since he was my only 4* with constellations so the game must be trying to tell me something. No regrets now other than not giving best boy Bennet more confidence at the beginning!
It was a couple of months I think before the community came around and realized he was good for support rather than dps.
So we have a new problem. Kiddo is doing the "Through the Mists" questline. Whenever there's enemies to fight, I come in to help him, but in co-op the relay puzzles aren't there, so I have to leave again.
We're on the Shirikoro Peak part, but where the guides and videos show the last feather... It's just not there. He's in single-player, and he's relogged an all too. No feather. Are we stuck forever, or is there some part of it we missed?

I'd double check all the locations, can be tough to tell which one you got in the fog and which you missed.

Well, there were three feathers in that area and we got two of them. We saw the third one go rocketing off, but when we got to where it should have been, it wasn't there.

For one of the points, the feather keeps running away from you bit by bit, with a few points you have to fight monsters. It ends up practically at a completely different tree. If you just skipped to the end that may be why you can't find it.
He went to do a different quest for a while, and when he came back it was back at its original position and we were able to chase it to the right spot.
On a side note, I still really hate “puzzles” in this game. They are simultaneously too easy and too fiddly/opaque. I have nothing but frustration for all of them.
I just really hate questing in general in this game. So. Much. Shitty. Dialog. There are some occasional gems but hoo boy does it take forever to click through all the crap.
Well, this is a world that is 100% tangibly trying to kill a person and anybody within 5 feet of him.

Regarding Joel's dad:
I got the impression that Joel's dad was being hinted to be Albedo's rejected homunculus brother - but I don't think he's necessarily a malevolent entity. He mainly just wants to be accepted into society like Albedo was. Sure, he tried to replace Albedo, but that plan didn't work. So if he can nail the gig of being Joel's dad who died on the mountain, maybe that's a happy ending for both him and the kid.

I agree that's the current situation, but who knows how well it'll work out in the long run? Gotta make every little kid sad, right? :P

Mondstadt is a city where you can sing and dance and nobody asks why. That offer was even open to Subject Zero.
Not that it ultimately worked out since he said hello by vomiting ten kinds of poison on people, but the offer was there.
Whelp. I made a mistake. I pushed into WT6 before I beat Raiden Shogun…
I am getting absolutely dumpstered by her and it’s not even close. Is there any trick to that? I really don’t want to put my world tier down a level just to get through it.

I had to eat a lot of food to survive the boss fights on Inazuma, the dang tree tumor can die in a fire. I was on WL 5 for the Shogun fight I think. There was a lot of cursing and stalling as Diona involved. I'm not entirely sure what the win condition is, but I don't believe you need to get her to 0HP, for me, stuff happened in the fight, then I dodged around a lot, then the fight was over. You're in Act 2?

I don’t know what act 2 means. It’s the vision hunt decree meeting. (Having that cutscene be unskippable to get into the boss fight sucks.)

Did some reading and looks like you just need to survive a while, so dodging and eating food are your two main tools for it at least once the abilities get locked down.

My interpretation is that Albedo has always been capable of disguising his pontil mark, but does not do so because he is accepted for who he is and feels no need to hide his "flaws".

Also got my Bennett C5, which means I'm now teetering on the edge of the eternal !
Or pyro-support-only Bennett and dumb shit like mono-pyro with a non-pyro carry with good normals.

Mona is probably one of the more-niche 5s, but she's very strong in her niche.
Generally, for the damage 5*s, the important questions are "as much as Diluc?" And "how much more of a hassle than Diluc?"
