Well, playing around with Itto convinced me he’s awesome so I shortcut the whole waiting a couple weeks part and I took the hit in the wallet. Another Qiqi on the next 10 pull, lol. So I missed every 50/50, but at least I got c2. Totally worth it, went from having significant downtime with 18% ER to being able to swap to 0 ER and not even having time to refresh Gorou’s banner before his burst is back up.
Had a few extra rolls after c2 so went to the weapon banner and I must have had some luck saved from all the lost 50/50s since I pulled a skyward harp and a stonethresher on back to back 10 pulls. No regrets!

The character demo for Itto is pretty fun. I really enjoy how he sticks to enemies, and the way the attack string continues after dodging, something Yoimiya could really use. And his attitude is top notch.
84% crit, 232% crit dmg, 2300 def. Only 18k hp, but presumably with shields and def means he won't be too much of a glass cannon.
Now need to figure out what to do with Gorou!
I have zhongli albedo and gorou, but need some sort of healer and I’m not sure which of the extra geo should go
Depends on the healer. Zhongli, Itto, Gorou, Noelle should be good enough if you want 4 Geo; I'd probably drop Zhongli, though, for a Bennett / Kokomi / Diona swap-in.
Here's my current favorite streamer on Itto guide with team comps and math: (he's very Jinx-like in terms of detail and quantification without some of the annoying repetition)
I'm currently running Itto / Albedo / Gorou / Rosaria* and I'm finding that Gorou c4 healing seems fine, although I will say I've primarily just been doing the weapon domains to get the stonethresher up, so abyss with corrosion I'm guessing wouldn't be doable.
*I'm using Rosaria just because I'm still committed to lvl 10 companionship on all my characters and she is the last one on my list (other than the new Gorou/Itto of course). She's still pretty good though for cryo application for crystallize and her crit buff for everyone.

Depends on what you want to do but I would go with the Black Sword. A lot of characters make really good use of it, and that and Solar Pearl are kinda the best BP weapons, I think.
And since you already have two other 5* catalysts which I'm jealous of, you can skip the Pearl.

My go-to recommendation these days is actually the Serpent Spine. It's an exceptionally good claymore for pretty much anyone who can use it. The Deathmatch is great, too, but there's less characters who want it over alternatives and is probably unnecessary if you have the Primordial Jade.

the BP bow is actually quite good for Childe. Viridescent Hunt has a vacuum effect that really boosts childe's riptide dmg.
i guess, in your case, coming from a lv 90 rust, it might be a bit of a toss-up there.

finished Itto's quest, Itto rules, quest one of the best story things they've done in a while, very satisfied with pulling so big on him. I even turned in all of the starglitter I had to just roll my luck on the sword and got it at 49 wishes, lol. an insane luck streak, jesus.

The problem I have with the Battle Pass weapons is that they're almost literally $10 per copy and the way that refinement works means you can get a copy of one of them, get an R5 of another weapon through gacha and have the latter be better. Like, I have a Black Sword and an R4 Lion's Roar, so the latter is much better on my Keqing and if I wanted to use the Black Sword on her, I'd need to get another BP to refine it. Same goes for like, my Jean, who has an R5 weapon and so on. So the $10 weapon gets handed down to other characters unless I pump more money into it.

the refining system needs a bit of work it feels like a way to slowly build up a rank for a weapon you already have with dupes speeding the process would be more fun
I mean, I don’t view the swords as ten dollars per weapon because I’m getting stuff aside from the sword. Like to me the weapon is almost an afterthought to the materials/fates/resin
my pulls luck seems to have all transferred to honkai. getting pretty great stuff over there but my last 40 pulls in genshin have been total meh. dupes and things i don't need...
one side -effect of the geo rock boys release is that the artifact domain for Guyun is hoppin'.

And then Traveler says something some group of players dislike and you get a bunch of morans screaming #NotMyTraveler and video game writers retreat once again into the comfort space of mute protagonists because if you can't please everyone you shouldn't please anyone.

I'm sitting on a bit more than 200 masterless starglitter and I have most of the 4*s on it at c6, so I'm unsure if I should keep sitting on it in case something really good gets added, Yolo it all towards geodude, or if I'm already missing out on a weapon everybody knows is OP?

The Blackcliff ones are crit damage statsticks that aren't too bad for certain characters, esp. Cryo users with 4piece set like Kaeya or Rosaria.

lotsa attack is still lotsa attack and u get da heal
i feel like albedo is probs spicier than zhongli if itto is doing the heavy lifting but its going to fuck hard no matter what
