I mean, it's a little concerning to me that the Trilogy is launching in 20 days and there hasn't been a single screenshot or trailer for it. Rockstar don't exactly have a consistent history with ports so I wouldn't be willing to put full-price money down just yet.
Looks like they at least did more than slapping an AI upres on everything, though the heads look... weird.
Edit: Trailer up.
Some nicer lighting and textures. Given it's 3 games, I doubted it would be a good remaster. I liked Vice City way back, but not sure this does enough that I'd want to replay it.

Oh wow, they put a lot more work into those remasters than I was expecting.
They even updated the controls and certain mechanics. Never played these three before, think I'll be buying this.
Are all the songs in it? I'm not a GTA superfan, so I probably wouldn't get it until it's on sale anyway (especially not as long as it's exclusive to that Rockstar thing). If they did relicense everything, I think three games for 60 is....okay? Kinda. Idk. Feels high. Again, I'm not champing at the bit for it, so I don't mind waiting till it's cheaper

I think it would be a lot better if they did it Master Chief Collection style and sold them separately for $20 each. GTA 3 is the shortest and its still a 20 hour game. I'm not a huge Grand Theft Auto fan but $1 per hour of gameplay isn't bad.
I'm not going to buy it because I don't want to support a company that thinks that they can remove content from a game that people have already paid for, or replace the version they paid for with a crappy mobile port, but I appreciate the upgrades that they made to the original games.
I'm curious to see if all content (i.e. the complete song lists, I'm not expecting Hot Coffee!) will be restored for these versions, but I'm guessing we won't find that out until it actually launches and fans go through it with a fine tooth comb.
San Andreas (on its own) will be on Game Pass (probably Xbox only if I'm reading it right) so some of us can try before we buy, anyway. GTA3 will also be on PS Now in December.

Hadn't even thought about the licensed music.
They're going to have a field day getting money out of Rockstar this time around, will be curious to see how much will get cut.
The original Xbox and PC versions had custom soundtrack support, but it was just your music track by track in order.
I think it would be pretty cool if you had the option to have your own songs interspersed with the original voice acted bumpers to give it a true radio station feel.

Or hell- throw some bucks at Spotify to integrate playlists or something for a custom radio station.

This. Although it hardly feels like I'm standing solely on principle, here, as I don't have a hole in my life the size and precise shape of 100 hours of GTA that I've already played to completion. They're making the controls suck less for gamepads, and that's cool, but I played these KBAM back in the day.
On a somewhat related note, Home Box Office is dead to me. The HBO Now version of A Clockwork Orange replaces the oddly-but-very-deliberately-juxtaposed arrangements of a film classic from a half-century ago with noise that some intern probably banged out in an afternoon.
Not that I can't put on my DVD or Blu-Ray, or load up one of my backups of the same. But the very idea that a new generation is seeing it for the first time in that vandalized form is upsetting enough. We're not talking about some digital walkie-talkies, here. We're way past that.
Finally. Since I started playing this late in the game's lifespan, the population is relatively low so the community had lost every galactic campaign I'd been present for so far.
So, I see that Fallout 4 has the GOTY edition on sale which includes all the DLC (never played any of it. . .or beaten FO4), but when you go to add it to CART it doesn't discount the GOTY edition (which is just a bundle of all the FO4 products) and just tells you "you've already got Fallout 4." Is this working as intended? I feel like I've done this with other games and STEAM discounts the cost appropriately if you already own content. Searching online suggests there's a difference between "packages" and "bundles." Anyone ever run into this?
EDIT: I think I understand what is going on. Fallout 4: GOTY is an entirely separate product, and STEAM is just listing what is in the package, not that the individual items bundled together make the package (ugh).

GTA Remastered looks cool but yeah, I've already played through 3 and Vice City. I'm good I think.

Not announced, and I'd seriously doubt it, but that would be cool.

No one says deckbuilders anymore. Especially not here.
I'm a little sheepish about the size of my deck...

But that's the best part of deckbuilders is that they let you keep making your deck bigger.

@JaysonFour decided to contribute to the succubus collection. Looks like porn. Works for me.
Thanks!
