Where do your guys work? And what do you do while you're there?
Right now I work in retail at a computer store. It's actually a pretty cushy job since they don't require all that much of you, but I really want to get out of retail. I've been doing it for about a year and a half now, and while part of me is worried that I'm slowly running out of patience out of it and will just snap, the other part of me is worried that I'll just get used to it, and become one of those 'lifers' who have been hawking the same crap for the next twenty years.
So what do you guys do? Inspire me by telling me about your awesome jobs, or tell me what to steer clear of if you work in a position that really sucks.
Right now I'm working as a Copyist for the Fred Waring Archive at Patee Library at Penn State University, and a Music Composition student at Oberlin Conservatory(though I am transferring), and taking any piano gigs that I'm offered, and working on the score to a movie-musical called "A World Without Harmony".
The Copyist job is pretty nice, basically I play through old Waring scores part by part, then make it look all good, and then go home. It's a good time.
Piano gigs? Always fun. I would take most of them if I didn't get paid.
I fix computers. And blackberries, PDAs, printers, phones, fax machines, copiers, scanners, networks, furniture (sometimes), flat panels, and anything else in a corporate environment that may or may not be plugged in to an electrical outlet.
Also I send old pieces of technology, beautiful outdated architecture from the glory days of Windows 95 and dot-matrix, to the shredder.
I am a Business Analyst currently stuck in a project that will take me to complete till the end of October. Why you ask? Because freaking people don't understand you don't save every freaking excel file every freaking day and rename it. Do you know how hard it is to search to all that garbage to find the one unique pile? Do you also realize that I deleted around 30 gigs of Excel and Access Files, Cooking recipies in our work server and baby pictures? Who puts that stuff on the company server?
But night, I would as AnimeHentaiMangaAnimeFiguresVideoGames man, fighting the nay sayers and giving the world my glorious items.

The town itself is called Celebration? Is it actually tied into Disney, or is that just a coincedence?

It was created and run by Disney for a number of years, and then they turned it over to the residents. A number of Disney offices are located there.
