Chosen Lightning Claw, maybe? Doesn't match the one from Dark Vengeance, so *fingers crossed* they get a full new multi-part kit (rather than just putting out the monopose).
The frame has officially gone overtly Chaos-y, with tenticles, teeth, and eyes, as well.

Some of the recent rumours have been saying that the Eldar versus Chaos box is going to have new Chosen, so that's my bet for this image. If we also get snippets for what looks like a new Warpsmith then the rumours are on point.
Ugh, I am going to just go drop my damn ad mech off with the reseller I know. I wanted cash but with new chaos and starting GSC I know I will burn through any credit.

Those were Greater Possessed which are kinda like possessed lieutenants, or maybe Drahzar to Incubi. Regular possessed are still a unit, and can be good in a few different armies. I bought some of the Magotkin AOS models to convert because the current possessed models look bad, and not very Nurgley.
Really with the various rumors of the eldar and the CSM ones {their codex will work like the Space Marine one as the CSM will have the two rumored books of Emperor's Children and the World Eaters] I am seriously debating about rebooting my CSM from an epoch ago
The whole rumors about that leaked image and the relaunch of Horus Heresy are in the back ground of various thoughts
Both my brother and I have little armies that are basically painting projects, His is built off of the minis from the Burning of Prospero mine is from people were parting out betrayal at calath. As I planned on doing imperial fists proto black templars
Just the rumors of HH and the CSM ones have me really requestion if I want to reboot my CSM and if I want to do a traitor legion in HH but who is the question for both since I did word bearers long ago but this was long before the lore and series of books

Patriarch: Up to W7, has a 4+ invul. His aura no longer autopasses morale, just ignores attrition modifiers Magus: 2 casts. His aura gives a 5+ FNP vs mortal wounds in the psychic phase to friendly infantry and bikers Primus: Now allows RR wound rolls of 1's aura (edit - it's RR hit rolls of 1 for core units, and can choose up to 1 unit within 6" to reroll wound rolls of 1). Up to Str4 and T4. Bonesword is +1S, -2 AP, D2
Psychic familiars changed, now allow a RR of a psychic test and count as a token and don't have their own stats.
neophytes: essentially the same, webber now does MW's if you roll above strength from what I understand. Saboteur: Is BS2+, doesn't have the crossfire keyword which is a bummer
Screenshots courtesy of CasualCryptic: (a bit blurry but better than nothing!) Blips:
Blips staying is fantastic. It is such a thematic rule.
Neophytes apparently also went from 2 Special and 2 Heavy weapons to 2 of each per 10 models. That's a pretty huge firepower increase if you run them in blobs. Webber change is interesting - right now they're a flamer with 6+" range and half the shots, which isn't really worth it. Anything to make them stand out on their own will be good.
I like Magus' getting 2 casts. They're really not worth their cost as they are, but getting 2 casts would be a pretty nice buff. Also a big fan of th Familiars change. A reroll is always nice, and I almost never remembered to use their attacks in combat anyway. Curious if they are a single reroll and then removed? If they are, they'll need a point reduction. 15pts was already steep, and they was with them being an extra wound for the owner once they'd allowed their extra cast.
Patriarch change is nice. He was already a massively powerful melee blender that could move an absurd distance (and looks like he still can, he still has Swift and Deadly), so a bit of extra toughness is never a bad thing.
Primus really needed that S and T buff.
Boneswords is an interesting change - that means Tyranid should see that carry over as well, which means Warriors with Boneswords will get a bump up to S5 in melee and finally give the unit a weapon outside of their cannons with damage higher than 1.
Let's hope it's scorpions and not just an autarch weapon option.
I do hope you can switch weapons between the autarchs
But then they could have updated the skyrunner riding one as well since the current one uses the waverunner bike and is resin

Oh FFS that Genestealer Saboteur page confirms it’s an Elite choice.
There’s already too many single characters in the elite slot.

I am REALLY curious what they do with the tau Codex.
That army needs so much help and in 8th was so binary to play against. You either waded through all the drones and stomped things or got bogged down and shot to death. (I picked up a tau army off a buddy in 8th and eventually flipped it, because it was neither fun to play or to play against)
I would love to see a) buffs to some of their more thematic units (battlesuits) and b) limits on drones the same way DG are limited on poxwalkers or other armies have limits on chaff units.
I want the army to play less like drone management and more an elites and h support focused force of premier shooters with some chaff to do the small things like jold objectives. People play them because theyre the mecha army, emphasize that.

If battlesuits are good again I will drop $600 on broadsides alone
Markerlights as a concept need a complete overhaul also. I'd be fine if they just removed them from the book and buffed the armies BS across the board. Or if they're kept, buff BS on everything and give markerlights other buffs (ignore cover, LoS shenanignas, etc).
Ultra high tech mechsuits shouldn't be hitting at BS4. Even the concept that these ultra high tech units need some grunt with a spotting laser to hit effectively is weird to me.
I don't play Tau any more, or vs anyone who plays tau, but I still feel like there's so many cool things they could do with an army that has such a strong theme other than "guard in mech suits".
Less drone management, scrap markerlights, buff BS across the board, make stock battlesuits a credible threat in melee so Tau have a unit that can hold objectives, and bake in some interesting abilities into the various battlesuit datasheets.
Id like to see marker lights be more a functioning of shooting itself. So you pump a squad of pulse rifle fire into a unit and then through some algorithm that gives you X amount of markerlight targeting applied towards subsequent shooting by other units.
It would reward concentrated and overlapping fields of fire which should be a hallmark of tau play
Just stumbled across some Nids leaks I think? It's not anything I've seen before.... Looks to be maybe a specialist detachment (whatever they're called presently) called a Crusher Stampede. Appears to be from one of the Octarius books or a White dwarf.
Army cannot include and swarm units or anything with less than 2 wounds.
For each non-monster unit you must have at least one monster unit
All units must be Tyranids and from the same hive fleet.
They can never have a hive fleet adaptation
They all have a 5++
Monster units get "hulking behemoth" and get -1d, a 5++, and models in these units count the number of wounds remaining towards the number of models they count as for the purpose of controlling objectives. (not obsec though)
Plus their own WL traits, psychic discipline, and set of strats.

What are the current ML rules again? I don’t have the 8e book and they change every edition…
That said, just allowing pathfinders to shoot and mark at the same time would be a huge benefit, never mind giving them the other toys from the kill team kit.

They just did new possessed not too long ago.
They did the possessed character, the possessed kits are pretty damn old.
Deathwatch have been a blast. I hate my Ad Mech. GSC seem really cool though I am starting small.
Necromunda gangs make great cultist models
Yeah I didn't watch the video. Good news though!
I wonder if this means we might finally see that plastic 30k mk vi set that leaked ages ago.

Yeah I saw that coming. My army is so packed with elite choices at this point that it's just a non-starter for me.
They could have put it in Heavy Support, considering it’s huge amount of explosives, and I don’t think anyone would have had a problem.
An axe & shield Wraith would be T5, W3, 2+,4++, -1D
Also I hope 18" is meant for wraithcannons, not d-cannons
hmm an odd looking item
He's like a head taller than the other T'au there.
Warpsmith
Eldar versus Chaos box set let's gooooooooo
It still would be cooler and more thematic to be eldar vs emperor's children
New noise marines are the next plastic sisters. Probably happen around 2030.
