I hope so, if only so that the people that scream "ZOMGZ ANGRONZ" every time they see model with a winged silhouette previewed, will finally shut the fuck up.
It is neat the cultists kept the same aesthetic as the ones did in blackstone fortress the possessed have that cronenberg aesthetic as well
The announcement about the world eaters yay! I will reboot my CSM but nor really more than a combat patrol +. I feel Argon will be shown or hinted during the Heresy talk later this week since he had already turned by the final battles
I know I am still debating if I do a traitor legion who?
Tim Curry as Angron would be... interesting, that's for sure.
Honestly cannot hear Tim Curry as Angron. His voice is too indulgent. He'd be better suited to a Slaaneshi character. Or some upper Imperium nobleman, someone who can get away with sounding like an aural chocolate fountain.

I really, really like the aesthetic of the Squat bounty hunter that Forgeworld did, and am a little disappointed that we're not getting more like him.

I'm a little surprised that the Phobos Kill Team is all Infiltrators/Incursors. Both their (normal) box and the Reivers' box come with two pairs of two sprues, so for this they could have included 5 Infiltrators/Incursors and 5 Reivers quite easily.
The upgrade sprue is also... a bit unispired. If my eye is right: seven new heads (in a kit that already includes 26 for ten men), a pointing left arm (in a kit with two pointing rights arms), a right forearm doohickey (in a kit with two left forearm doohickies), a big satchel and detonator (in a kit with two Haywire Mine arms), a left knife-holding arm (in a kit with four right knife-holding arms), a powerpack targeting doohickey (in a kit with ten), a powerpack skull, a powerpack servo skull, a jumbo purity seal, a grenade arm, an auspex arm, a medic arm, and a medic pouch.
I guess there's not a ton of other things to add instead, but I'd have rather had, say, Las Fusil/Bolt Sniper Rifle and some cloak-y bits so that you could turn one or two into psuedo-Eliminators or something.
I am meh about the squats/Leagues of Votann across the various games
The shadowspear phobos had the auspex and medic arms
This edition of kill team has the fronteris terrain
I know they hand out phobos like candy [reivers were the last ones} in the last mission/campaign book they had all phobos armies as an army of renown. It seems they want people to use them or play with them
The reivers shined in the last edition of kill team {and really were good in arena}
MkVI (and repackaged MkIII/MkIV) come in boxes of 20 instead of ten, which is... an interesting choice. If they cost less per Marine then that's super cool, if they're literally doubling the price then that's a little dumb.
Geigor Fell-hand and Azhek Ahriman are going to be available, which is nice as I would like both but had missed the Burning of Prospero box.
They're doing special/heavy weapons sets, which honestly is a modular way of going about it that I'd like to see them use throughout their product line in general. But I really like that they're doing it here, at least.
I figured out what puts me off about the Mk6 the most. It's the legs. They're just too flared and wide around the ankles and then also scraping on the ground.

Someone needs do a mega-recut of all the MkVI trailers, set to The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's Bellbottoms.
I really like that Kratos tank, it's clearly identifiable as a Warhammer-ass vehicle but it's also distinct; it looks almost like something that could conceivably exist today (minus the giant rayguns of course). It really sells that the Horus Heresy is a bygone age of humanity before everything got super baroque and even more awful.
Oh, and I missed the big news: the starter box is confirmed to be under £200/300 USD.
Which is a ridiculously good price. Like... it might be under 50% once we get the cost of everything. I have no space, and already have a solid pile of shame going on, but I almost want to get it on principle.
(It is also apparently not going to be a limited release, which is fantastic.)

The Heresy style turrets are way better than the 40k ones in particular, I think
I know the hull is the Sicaran for the most part so I do wonder when they roll that out
I will be getting that box but since I will be splitting it with my brother I did tell him the contents will be a discussion
the weapon boxes are made to outfit a mass of troops so not knowing anything of army construction in Heresy I feel it's masses of troops in the smaller games

Units in HH are almost always specialist units. A tactical squad is just a mass of guys with bolters, and special or heavy weapons are usually found in support squads where everyone has the same gun. So 10 guys with flamers or 5 guys with plasma guns.
There is the option for a veteran tactical squad, and it does resemble the tactical squad of 40K, but it pays a higher points cost for their specialist skill and flexibility without necessarily increasing survivability.

It’s a similar shape but it’s about twice the size. It’s a proper Heavy Tank in the vein of the Tiger II, only 30k as all hell. Also it’s AV 14 all around, which makes it the equal of the Land Raider defensively.
Huh, so if you pick up the starter and use it all as one army that isn't a bad start for HH. You get termis, a lot of troops, the spartan, and a contemptor. Also a pair of characters.

That’s “two units of troops” if you mean 40 tactical marines. The individual boxes are gonna be 20-man too.

I can't decide what color to make the topknots and cloth/leather on my Eldar Guardians. I could use do what the standard color scheme of black. I think that they're supposed to be cloth anyway? The little tasle things on their armor and the armband some of them have.
Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration. - Lincoln

I love his art on the cover of that Siege of Terra novel. Those Custodes might last .5 seconds longer than everyone else

Oh, and you'll be able to use the GSC vehicles in necromunda per that article. That's cool.
Yeah just have a second <variable> keyword in codex Astra militarum, but the choice is Imperium or Chaos.
