    Anyone know for certain what moniker Jerry's firstborn goes by these days? Is it still the same one? Jerry keeps referring to them simply as his eldest, which is a somewhat awkward appellation (and makes them sound like the Tzimisce antediluvian) but obviously I don't want to accidentally deadname the kid.

    "Jerry's firstborn." There you go, problem solved.

    On a semi-related topic, my firstborn decided about a year or more ago that he would no longer have his hair cut or allow his picture to be taken (literally said "I don't allow my picture to be taken.") Not even school photos for the yearbook.

    Since he's 10, I don't think I can blame it on teenagerdom. Maybe it's early onset. I think it more likely it's an expression of his non-neurotypicality. So we've just rolled with it. He picked a good time to do it, because who can find a fuck to give with everything else going on?

    True, which is why I asked if anyone knew for sure. I'll just keep calling them "the Eldest Holkinsborn" or something until I hear a namedrop on a podcast or something.

    I admit to being pedantic but I couldn't say nothing. It seems Jerry doesn't quite get the concept of Daylight Saving Time. When it was actively observed, he used PST (Pacific Standard Time). Now there we're actually back to standard time, he's using PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). In short, he has it backwards. Perhaps his part of Washington is in a weird time area that explains this. If not, it's easily corrected. Just say PT or "Pacific Time" and always be right.

    The thing is, no one really cares. We just look at see it's 4pm Psomethingsomething and know it's Pacific. The whole thing is bullshit, anyway.

    I was more concerned about the link to the store being wrong. Once that was fixed all the rest was pretty minor.

    In short, yes, you're being pedantic for wanting Jerry to figure it out so he can more Pacific.
