Not even a little bit. Considering the actual things happening with Kobo and everyone else, it's entirely, ghoulishly possible that channels can be raided and spammed and the resulting spam will get that channel itself deleted instead of the accounts. It's the worst of both worlds!
Edit: I was wrong, apparently. Still, not surprising to have zero faith.
I'm not really sure how to phrase a translation of something like "minotakedoori ichikorosa". And like does "yuukengunhoe" come across as small-minded people spreading rumours if left as "the barking of village dogs"?

i looked into it and channels can only redirect to you if you're subscribed to their channel, or you can go further and keep a whitelist of specific channels that can redirect to you, so that should cut down on bad actors
Yeah, when it Overwatch was at its height of popularity.
It's fallen far from those heights for a whole host of reasons, so I'm a little incredulous that all of a sudden now they're all interested in playing it on stream.

It's the beta for Overwatch 2 that prompted this, they're not just playing Overwatch 1 randomly.
HoloPro frequently advertises deals and sponsorships as achievements they want to impress people with.
Taking sponsored stream money and hiding they were paid for it would be against TOS, illegal in many places, and deeply confusing and pointless as the merit of such an agreement would be questionable from both ends of the deal. Overwatch 2 is a very popular thing to stream at this moment in time, ABK doesn't need to pay anyone to stream it, and those it chooses to pay, they just... disclose that in the normal way. There's no reason to try to thwart the law. And vice versa, Hololive characters are now playable in video games, it's not like they're struggling to where under the table illegal deals should be considered.

On top of what shoebox already said, it might be doubtful that they all actively wanted to play it, but it's not at all hard to believe that one or two of them was interested and just asked the other to come along for the ride.
There are several streamer advantages to playing games past their prime without sponsorship
Marty: The future, it's where you're going? Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.

all of a sudden now, yes, when there's finally actually movement with the sequel, and they just concluded the first playable beta that brought back streamers and pros who haven't touched the game in years, the timing does check out
not to mention ame got back into the game during her charity stream and has been streaming it off and on for the past year, it can be an organic development that her friends would want to play it with her
anyway that's probably enough on the subject, here's zeta and mumei making some very regular artwork
Spoilering this since it's not an important tweet (it's just showing off Hololive's Family Mart promo), but I do really like the skill that went into manipulating the images so Twitter's cropping algorithm put it back together as a fifth image:

If you get a group of friends together, I imagine Overwatch is still genuinely fun. That circumvents so very many of it’s issues.

I definitely agree with this, but also I still enjoy the game quite a lot even on my own, despite all its troubles.
Close enough, but I think they could do better. It should still drive her nuts.
Though should b funny if she ever logs in at a spot that lets her hear Bae's rail running. Don't know if sitting in minecarts will hide tags or not, but even if she sees the tag, her reaction should be pretty good.
Actually, going to laugh when all the illicit additions to Bunkeronii create a situation where if she wants to expand it, she'll have to incorporate said constructions into it.
Edit: The other thing I'd love to se someone do, is to create and underground village below the farm, complete with leveled up villagers. Bonus points if someone thinks to create a building called the berry black market that has butchers that will trade emeralds for berries.
Choco throwing some serious real talk about college and managing career expectations: https://youtu.be/z6N8mnRlbP4
She got really good advice and decided to go to vocational school instead of going to college because "that's what everybody does". And the bit about not romantizing jobs to then just quit when they don't fit your preconceptions is gold.
Sure, if you have no idea what you want to do, going to college for general studies is a waste of both current and future money.
She picked something she hated and stuck with it after seeing the reality but im pretty sure she would have hated her job due to low pay if nothing else if Yagoo hadn't come along. its an interesting attitude to take when your trying to find something to do, but most people wouldnt stick with the subject if they didnt pick up at least some interest in doing it. I think theres a lesson to be learned from her actions, but not necessarily one to emulate completely.
I do agree that Vocational schools are great for people to get a hands on idea of what the field is about quickly...college is about book learning, and less practical application so thats hard to tell until you get to that point and have wasted a lot of time and money doing it. Vocationals you usually get hands on very quickly and can decide without wasting all that much.

The ironic thing is that's a clip from...a cooking stream. So that says something, even if it is "I need a niche because YouTube keeps messing with my channel when I do ASMR and I'm already good at this so can do great and focus on chat". Though I bet that all the praise she gets from the other talents for it is also nice.
That out of the way, I do agree with low pay being an issue, but going in with an "empty heart" and an open mind means not having preconceptions about it, so she stuck it out instead of all the people that quit because it wasn't how they thought it would be.
'General studies' is not really as much of a concept outside of us universities because most of those subjects are covered more in depth at the secondary education level; us high school standards are designed around the collegiate feeder system to prop up that industry financially

I had no idea Youtube was implementing this. Did they think of a way to curtail hate raids before implementing it? It's big tech so... probably not!

Waiting for someone to get the brilliant idea of having a redstone music box hidden away in there that will play Somebody is Watching Me by Rockwell.

Gura just put a hidden music box in the water room that makes a donk noise every once in a while, does that count?
