EDIT: Oh and everything about the Beauty and the Beast Unit was fanservice at it's most gross.
Yeah, it's ridiculously bad. MGS1 has a themed unit of weirdo bosses because they used to work with Big Boss as Fox Hound until he went "bad" (arguably), and broke bad because of him. MGS2 is an AI created facsimile of Shadow Moses, so naturally it has a sort of store brand Fox Hound to cover that base. And MGS3 as the prequel is the ultimate source of the weirdo team idea. So MGS4 has a weirdo team because... nostalgia? There's no story reason in particular why they exist. Hearing their backstory from Drebin in no way clarifies how this super edgy grimdark BS led to them being candidates for a squad and it seems certain that they wouldn't follow orders or be very useful in a military sense for doing anything in particular. You could argue it was one of the AIs making a unit to stall and harass Snake in particular, but as usual, there are so many double and triple crosses in store, the bad guys' plans would actually fail completely if their anti-Snake unit succeeded in killing Snake at the wrong moment.
And the less said about the Easter Eggs and "your violence fixed their crazy lady brains, Snake!", the better.
MGS4 in general has issues with how it treats women. I thought the Rosemary Easter egg was the worst.
Aside from that, I generally enjoyed the wacky total shifts. Its part of what makes MGS4...MGS4. One moment you are talking about how the System has changed warfare, and how now nations create conflict as a means of economic growth. The next Johnny is pooping himself.
Project V's Summer Voyage seemed to feature more non-vtubers than usual. These events have been trending Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Siro and Akari got a decent amount of spotlight, too. Kizuna AI appeared on the back screen.
Ya’ll don’t see how it’s possible that the suits at Hololive could be a bit cross that they were working with Vshojo while Vshojo was scooping up their “graduates?”
Eh...maybe a little about coco, but for whatever the true reasons behind Rushia's downfall, they had to make that choice to let her go..its not like she wasnt going to just go independant or join someone else with her fame eventually. For whatever reason, they did *graduate* so they have no say anymore, and any mature company realizes they don't own the talents.
A good question! She came up with the whole "gimme your fingers" thing literally on her first gaming stream, and never gave a real explanation as to why.
Her first gaming-stream was actually also her debut-stream, and getting other people's fingers started on twitter before the debut because she was typing too many replies.

for context her debut was such a trainwreck on account of her being sick, nervous, and inexperienced with OBS that okayu, foobs, and mio had to come rescue her
and yeah, she was trying to reply to everyone on twitter predebut and wished she had 100 fingers to be able to respond to every tweet, and things took off from there
My understanding is that it was a metaphorical/"metaphorical" thing, related to fan loyalty or somesuch.
Basically, the idea being that Korone "takes your fingers" until the end of the stream, so that you don't tab away or do other stuff while watching. And then gives it back at the end of the stream.
Which evolved into the whole doggo cutting off everyone's fingers and hoarding them thing from there.

The reasoning varies even within the early mentions, but yes, collateral has been a recurring one.
Related to the debut-stream, Korone thinks it's pretty funny that the height 156 sounds like one hit kill.

They just had a big offline meetup last week too, so I wouldn't be surprised if other folks in HoloID end up coming down with it

Eh... I dunno, sometimes they funnel that money to their weird church or whatever.
Don't give alcohol to babies.
Yeah, that says that everybody else is waiting for test results.

The mystery has now been solved:
"Isn't that ban evasion?". That's a good question.
