Finished all my quests and it just barely pushed me to 100, where I unlocked the final WoW T1 set hero portrait. I wonder if they're going to tack on some new reward for level 100 starting next expansion or if us long term nolifers will just get nothing when hitting 100. Or maybe they'll finally add one for DK, which for some reason they still haven't.

Here's the anomaly list:
For one week following the launch of Patch 27.4, Anomalies will appear in 100% of Standard, Wild, Twist, Casual, Arena, and Practice Mode games. After that one-week period, they will appear in 25% of games until Patch 28.0. Cho’gall, Twilight Chieftain’s effect offers an additional chance for an Anomaly, meaning that you could have up to two Anomalies active in a game during this event period if you and/or your opponent have Cho’gall in your deck(s). In games where Anomalies are present, all Anomalies have an equal chance of appearing.
Yeah...the number there that I would go "This feels like we're both being affected" equally is pretty low. Symmetry just isn't symmetrical in these complex games. Just think about how many decks are built with the assumption of their hero power, and then you get forced to just throw it away 5% of the time
e: I think one of the goofiest things I saw back when this was announced was there was this group of players who were like "what, do you hate FUN" and it's like, I don't get the person for whom this is random enough to be goofy and fun. Like it's not not-random enough for the competitive players, and it's not goofy enough for the goofsters

I think the fact that it's forced into all modes, even Standard, is the most egregious thing about it. Also if it were just one week I could just suck it up, but the fact that it's going to be lingering in ~25% of games for the next couple months is pretty crazy.

All golden minions is worse imo. If murlocs are in, it's just a race to level 4 and whoever gets more breem and scam, wins.
Although one game someone managed to get to 6 and run a board of Kalec and warpwing. Still died to scam, obv.
My first game was as Unholy DK against a Mage and discovering a new hero power, which totally crippled me and didn't particularly hamper the Mage. Can it be next week yet?

So far the anomalies have been kind to this deck. The extra removal thanks to the miniset gives this controlldeck much more power and ups the game versus Warlock, as they can't taunt their way out.

a lot of the anomalies just make BGs feel totally random (well, to a greater extent than they already are anyway)
some of them are pretty fun; I find myself enjoying little league and the all-sire-denathrius ones are kinda entertaining.
lots feel really bad though; I think my least favorite is actually the tier 3-4-5-6 one, because you just start getting slapped for huge damage immediately if you don't get lucky in the early shops

Seen last night: the +5 health anomaly doesn't fire for a Renathal player since they are already at 35 health to start with.

The way it's coded is that anomalies and their animations trigger first, even show up before you get your cards, then other start at game triggers one by one. Technically you could get +10 health of two of the same anomalies, but renathal resets your health afterwards.
Not sure if it's a bug or intended, or if they want to make an exception for renethal.

Renathal's a Start of Game effect, which triggers after Anomalies, and his effect is "Your health is 35", not "+5 health". It's just not labeled as Start of Game because it has a sub-effect (deck size) that takes place even before Start of Game. So technically speaking, it actually works consistently with all the rules as stated.
That said, they've also agreed with players that the universal timing on Anomalies doesn't quite make sense with some effects. The +5 health, and the "hero powers cost (1) less" are going to be patched to take place after Start of Game effects that modify health or hero powers.
So in other words, it's unintended that Renathal decks don't benefit from the +5 health anomaly.
Also, was that already patched? Cantelope was playing Shadow Priest last night and ended up with a 1 mana hero power after the card flipped the hero power icon.

Are there like... tons of bots right now? I have fought so many "people" the past two plays who snap pick everything and make the most boneheaded plays, like casting removal spells on their own minions when nothing else is on the board.

Whenever I was playing standard in the last couple months everything gold and below was at least 50% bots.

Love to lose an arena game because it forced me to get rid of my DK hero power and my opponent gained the dk hero power (lost because I couldn't affect the board or gain corpses, and my opponent was a druid who kept buffing his ghouls and eventually won off the accumulated value with a drum circle board)

Yeah, it's been that way for me since before Titans. At least the bots don't intentionally rope, which is what most of the humans I end up with do.

I'll concede that there's an occasional outlier depending on matchup and deck, but honestly? Outside of Unimaginable Horrors, everything else on the list is some neutral stuff or it helps this deck out in various ways. Extra draw to snag Odyn, getting him out earlier, reduced cost Riff triggers, and so on. In essence, it's a clean d20 roll and I will take those odds all day.
It's also a pretty good body for Dirty Rat to drag out since it can clear it in one shot.
