I swear the dad legend climb has been getting harder and harder over the last year or so. This month was the hardest slog I can remember. After mostly treading water in D10-D9 with handbuff paladin I decided to give up on that path and crafted Eliza and went with Alphagaia's Corpse Rainbow DK (Props! Not nearly as bait as the infinite Reska deck ). It was still a slow climb that took a lot of win 2->lose 2->win 2->lose 1 clawing, but I was able to get to dad legend right at the end of the month. It's a fun deck that can win a few different ways, but in this meta you do often just get out-aggroed, OTK'd, or unable to push through control.
I saw Cantelope playing a different sort of Eliza Rainbow DK deck but didn't get a deck code. It was more aggressive and low curve. The only card above 4 is Reska (so essentially 4 is the highest cost card). I kind of wanted to try it, but at that point I was already D7 or so and didn't want to risk dropping a bunch trying out a new deck when I had one that was working.
This is also a great counter. The goal is to Deathgrowl Frostbitten Freebooter and Druid kills himself if he uses the drinks. It's also pretty quick and good versus Buffy. Versus Warrior you can either go freeze if you are quick enough or steal all his big mecha with Reska and death growl if your hand turns out slow. I really like it, though I think it can be improved. Very near tier 1.

Yet another 4 common 1 rare golden pack does not motivate me to ever buy golden packs, Blizzard.
I think I bought 6 golden packs last expansion, trying to hit the "first 10 packs, get a legendary" timer which I am 99% works for those too, but wasn't 100% certain and then got discouraged and quit buying the packs since one didn't pop and because I felt like I was burning up gold. Thankfully there were some good nerfs out of those packs so the dust back was nice.

I was really hoping some of the cards that got de-buffed while simultaneously also getting a buff would also be eligible for a refund, but that was clearly too greedy on my part.

Does nerfing Concierge's mana cost actually do anything???
Isn't the problem that it can reduce card costs to 0?? Just slap a "Can't be reduced below 1 mana" on it??????
It delays the Druid's ability to OTK by a turn, so yes. It will still feel bad to lose to, but I think it's unlikely it's a T1 deck after the nerfs.
On the other hand, since the other top decks got nerfed, maybe OTK Druid will still be too good.
Edit: It's kind of an annoying nerf because there were other classes trying to utilize it that weren't ridiculous, but now those decks are in more rough shape solely because of Druid.

Concierge probably should have been reduce costs to not less than (1). There is so much mana acceleration/reduction in this game, I really think making cards cost (0) should be a thing of the past, or at least extremely rare.

Good Deck. No one ever fucking expects it because I'm the only one crazy enough to be laddering with it. But holy goddamn does it feast on all these slow-ass greedy fuckin decks!!! Warrior? Rush the Excavates and start bouncin' the Snek, they're too fucking slow to start setting up a massively annoying board to dome me (and if they do, hey, I have 2x Gul'dan's Gifts, Large Sarge, and Yogg in ETC's pocket). Even more doable now without the fucking Unkilliax wall. Druid is annoying as fuck still because of Doomkin and shit. But if you can rush Excavates and control the board it's very doable. Priest is a FICKLE LIL SNAKEY-ASS BITCH I fuckin' can't with them, oh my god. Token Shaman or w/e it's called (Evolve Shaman???) is a pain in the fuck because of all the ridiculous token gen and Wave of Nostalgia wiping out my goddamn Mo'args.
I've been doing... decently well vs the Elemental Trio (Rogue/Shaman/Mage)??? Mage is the easiest to deal with I think, the other two can be a bit shaky. I guess Rogue a bit less now cause of Lamplighter no longer going to 1 mana with Shadowstep. Hunter is dicey as fuck. Warlock... if I can stabilize out I'm generally good. Sometimes I've been able to race them down before they can plonk down Infernal. Fatiguelock is a lot more difficult than Painlock. Paladin is a fuck!!! I swear every time I mull for Flood, it's Handbuff. Every time I mull for Handbuff, it's Flood. Definitely one of the harder matchups, but Flood is easier to deal with I think. Death Knight, if I can stabilize out, I'm generally okay (there was this one DK who got off like 6 Eliza Deathrattles though due to Reborn/Death Growls and holy fucking shit a 7/1 Charge being their Hero Power is disgusting)... Same with DH... I think DK, DH, Painlock are maybe like 50/50s, Hunter and Paladin are really difficult matchups, I SWEAR I have a negative winrate vs Priest (idk how those weasly fucks manage to do it!!). Seems solid vs everything else though.
But yeah honestly the deck feels pretty good in this meta right now?? Hyper fast aggro decks can still be a bitch, but it feels solid. I certainly ran into my fair share of weird-ass decks on the way up though (Incindius Priest??????)

I have learned vs aggro decks the wincon is not bouncing fuckin' Snek, it's to Stay Alive. Clear board, heal up, build board. I keep Large Sarge in aggro matchups. I toss out bounces and Zola on other stuff that isn't Snek to get value there. I will legit toss down Snek full-on raw without bouncing if I need to and if it lets me survive.
I swapped out Watchers of the Sun and Ignis for "Health" Drinks and Marin, I think that works better. Spot removal was something the deck lacked a lot and hoo boy "Health" Drink really helps with that a lot. Marin is just good, Wonderous Wand is great, Crown is solid as hell for board. Goblet can enable Miracles. ...Kobold is a fucking hail mary option if you're just straight up fucked. I was trying some new neutrals and stuff initially... Travel Agent is very hit or miss and wasn't really what the deck wanted or needed. Mixologist didn't really feel great either. I feel like I just cannot remove Scarab at this point, every other potential option does not feel good. Scarab is too goated. The new 2 drops are all really goated (2 drops in general, tbh). Travel Agent is a 2 drop! I love getting that off of Scarab, rather than running that in my deck. Eat The Imp is a fantastic pull from Scarab since you can cycle VERY fast without losing any health in the process. Bloodsail Recruiter is pretty legit (MARIN IS A PIRATE???). Drink Server is incredible. Plus all the other lovely 2 drops you can get... Dirty Rat, extra Kobolds/Endgames... Audio Amplifier ends up being pretty solid, Audio Medic is fantastic... Loot Hoarder/Gold Panner/Thalnos are solid draw options.. Doomsayer is an amazing pull... buncha value stuff like Dryscale Deputy, Flint Firearm, Hipster, Wandmaker, Watcher of the Sun.. Trapdoor Spider and surprisingly Stereo Totem are really strong.. Rush minions, removal spells, EXTRA BOUNCES LOL. 2 drops. Goated.
Demonic Studies is less consistent now with all the Crap that was added, but is still worth using and still feels very good to run. You won't get Mo'args as often but there's still a lot of really solid Demons you can pull from anyways. Fiddlefire Imp provides really good value, Observer is good for stalling out the enemy board, I legitimately do take Malefic Rook quite often because holy shit a 5/6 for 2 mana HELLO??? the face damage doesn't really matter you can heal it up. I'll take Infernal sometimes to save it for Emergency Healing much later on in the game. Doomguard can be a solid "I need just a tiny bit of extra reach" option. Opera Soloist is still a solid board clear, Dreadlord and Wretched Queen are solid board options.. But the chances of whiffing are higher now, too. It's pretty easy to end up with 3 trash picks. World Pillar Fragment has gotten a bit less reliable/consistent from all the new Elementals as well.
I do not know if I have it in me to push for Legend AGAIN lmao. Dad Legend is fine, I've proven the deck's worth more than enough times by now.

I was playing a Warrior deck tonight and I got matched against another Warrior. I put down Hamm the Hungry on Turn 6 and he ate the Hamm out of the opponent's deck.
I’m playing Insanitylock and it’s suuuuuper fucking fun. Lots of ways to win, you have to play smart and it’s successful so far.
It's probably the best deck now. Do your climbing while you can, because I assume it will be next up for nerfs in the next balance patch.

Drink druid is still pretty good. In addition to just killing out of nowhere, it's solid against the popular token decks because everything dies in one or two hits. Then they run out of cards and you kill them anyway.

I have learned vs aggro decks the wincon is not bouncing fuckin' Snek, it's to Stay Alive. Clear board, heal up, build board. I keep Large Sarge in aggro matchups. I toss out bounces and Zola on other stuff that isn't Snek to get value there. I will legit toss down Snek full-on raw without bouncing if I need to and if it lets me survive.
I swapped out Watchers of the Sun and Ignis for "Health" Drinks and Marin, I think that works better. Spot removal was something the deck lacked a lot and hoo boy "Health" Drink really helps with that a lot. Marin is just good, Wonderous Wand is great, Crown is solid as hell for board. Goblet can enable Miracles. ...Kobold is a fucking hail mary option if you're just straight up fucked. I was trying some new neutrals and stuff initially... Travel Agent is very hit or miss and wasn't really what the deck wanted or needed. Mixologist didn't really feel great either. I feel like I just cannot remove Scarab at this point, every other potential option does not feel good. Scarab is too goated. The new 2 drops are all really goated (2 drops in general, tbh). Travel Agent is a 2 drop! I love getting that off of Scarab, rather than running that in my deck. Eat The Imp is a fantastic pull from Scarab since you can cycle VERY fast without losing any health in the process. Bloodsail Recruiter is pretty legit (MARIN IS A PIRATE???). Drink Server is incredible. Plus all the other lovely 2 drops you can get... Dirty Rat, extra Kobolds/Endgames... Audio Amplifier ends up being pretty solid, Audio Medic is fantastic... Loot Hoarder/Gold Panner/Thalnos are solid draw options.. Doomsayer is an amazing pull... buncha value stuff like Dryscale Deputy, Flint Firearm, Hipster, Wandmaker, Watcher of the Sun.. Trapdoor Spider and surprisingly Stereo Totem are really strong.. Rush minions, removal spells, EXTRA BOUNCES LOL. 2 drops. Goated.
Demonic Studies is less consistent now with all the Crap that was added, but is still worth using and still feels very good to run. You won't get Mo'args as often but there's still a lot of really solid Demons you can pull from anyways. Fiddlefire Imp provides really good value, Observer is good for stalling out the enemy board, I legitimately do take Malefic Rook quite often because holy shit a 5/6 for 2 mana HELLO??? the face damage doesn't really matter you can heal it up. I'll take Infernal sometimes to save it for Emergency Healing much later on in the game. Doomguard can be a solid "I need just a tiny bit of extra reach" option. Opera Soloist is still a solid board clear, Dreadlord and Wretched Queen are solid board options.. But the chances of whiffing are higher now, too. It's pretty easy to end up with 3 trash picks. World Pillar Fragment has gotten a bit less reliable/consistent from all the new Elementals as well.
I do not know if I have it in me to push for Legend AGAIN lmao. Dad Legend is fine, I've proven the deck's worth more than enough times by now.
