Eh, seems reasonable to me. Now Druid needs more armor combo pieces and/or mana (or coming into the turn with armor) to pull off a crazy Anub turn. It should hurt the consistency of Zok Druid -- or whatever other combo Druid nonsense might come down the pike in the next year -- which was only decent and not that consistent as it was.

BGs seems even less fun than before with the super restricted minion pool
Everyone power levels and goes for the broken combos and with poisonous being nerfed whoever gets the fattest pile of stats the quickest wins the lobby
Meanwhile, I took advantage of the Unholy DK power vacuum to push to dad legend with, yet again, Frost DK. Still using the same deck as pre-nerf, with Rowdy Fan, although I wonder if there's a better choice hiding somewhere out there.
OK, C'Thun (Battlegrounds) is insane with Drakkari Enchanter. Not only does it make the hero power trigger twice, it also makes the growth of the hero power happen twice per turn.

I think Drakkari is a very nice addition to BGs, it's sadly just overshadowed by the broken shit (mostly Rylak).

That and anything multiplicative. Slamma to tier 4 doesn't really solve the problem, and that one elemental that multiplies its health every two turns is the reason you see elementals with <Integer Overflow> health. Those three specific cards I'd assert are why the balance is so off in BGs right now.
Though personally I'm not much fond of the cleave pirate either. There's a reason why cleaves were generally pretty exotic and hard to build up previously, but now you can casually have a cleave that is easy to bulk up and is practically guaranteed to take 2-3 minions with it.

The elemental health doubling dude with the double/triple end of turn effect dude produced a 100/4.3million on a stream I was watching yesterday.
In general, I'd say Upbeat Duo is enabling a ton of broken comps to become very consistent. Making it no longer a battlecry solved rylak interactions but gave it way more staying power on the board.

I just deleted the quest. It's fine. I think they just try to alert people that heroic brawl exists this week because you wouldn't know if you just play the game.

And somehow it worked? I ended up going 3-0 tonight with it against a Renethal Priest, Undead Priest, and Frost DK. It's possible I was just highrolling, but it was fun smashing faces in with it.
I get the feeling any deck that plays some taunts would have no trouble dealing with it, since you generally win by ramming a beefed up weapon into face for a few turns.

Just had a 3.5k health minion in BGs. Got my blood gems up to +3/50, kept throwing them on a single minion and then elemental (golden) that gains highest health of warband but doubled.
With venomous being a one time use, there was nothing my opponents could do. I think that change was a mistake.
I've still seen boards where people are able to get like 6+ instakills (combination venomous and Leeroy), although that's kind of dependent on Murlocs being in.

I just demolished a demon lobby with this spicy number:
Gonna positive post and say that BG is the best it’s been in a while. Lots of great ways to play the game, difficult decision trees, and payoff for nutty high rolls (and punishes for mistakes).
To give an example of the diversity, my last 5 games went like this:
This is at high ELO (8.3k+, in the top 1%) without battle pass (so only 2 hero choices) and I’m still climbing with maybe 5 games daily. Wins and losses make sense and feel fair (for example, the Eudora 6th place resulted from a mistake, where I should have gone for a safer tempo play rather than trying to high roll to win, and got punished when I whiffed on a couple discovers).
These metas really reward skill and thus, create consistent results. The armor change has been so healthy for the game. The BG team deserves a lot of praise.
Also, how are you supposed to use that new 15/15 without cheating it out of your hand or deck? No card in Standard besides Ren adds a great number of cards to your deck.
EDIT: Oh, and Queen What's-her-face could add 5 spells to the deck.

It's the other way around. The less cards you have in your deck, the fewer is it's cost.

I am confused that I have not seen other builds with Abyssal Bassist involved. Remornia counts toward the discount and hits it twice in one turn - you can get both off on turn 10.
It's an interesting idea. I imagine the conflict there is it's two more possible brick draws in a deck that generally wins by getting on the board early and maintaining it. Bassist is basically a dead draw if you don't draw either of your Imbued Axes. With a single weapon equipped, it's just a decent 5 drop. It really needs 2+ weapons equipped to be a good payoff card, which is tough in a deck that only plays 3 total weapons (1 of which is expensive and late game).
You're talking about turn 10, but in my experience Enrage Warrior has almost always either won or lost by turn 10. I could see it being a little more useful vs. other aggro decks in cases where you're losing the health race.

I will agree with that downside. 10 mana is worst case with that combo - I guess my luck has been catching at least an axe or Remornia or both if Bassist wanders into hand, so it's been a pretty good mid-game 5-drop stabilizer or better.
Why does hearthstone again put special timed quests in the slots for regular quests? What was the point of the special timed quest slots if they're going to also use the regular slots for even more specialer timed quests?

I think I lost my reward for completing the Diablo Tavern Brawl. I got one red card pack pack for winning but because my quest queue was full, I didn't get a second pack from the quest.
Also, have I ever mentioned how garbage the netcode is for this game (on phone)? Drops connections all the time, and god help you if you try to switch to another app to e.g., send an sms (even if the sms goes over cell network and HS over wifi); you will be dropped.
Do FTP BG players not get access to the new hero? I've rerolled so many times hoping to get it with no luck.
They do. I've had a chance to play both the new heroes since the patch. I don't know if having fewer slots means you get them offered less than tavern pass players or not.
Facing mages is an absolutely miserable experience now. 4-5 Solid Alibis, tons of armor gain, freezes. You just get ground down and they escape death about 10 times a game.

Has anyone else experienced, on mobile, situations where the opponent’s turn never ends but somehow, my turn begins and passes without my knowing it?

But if I reload the game, a bunch of stuff will have happened and often, my turn has come and gone without my knowing it even started.
I looked at the forums but didn’t find anything conclusive. Until I know what’s going on, I’m simply avoiding anything other than BG on mobile.
I had something similar this week where the game board wasn't interactive or showing stuff for me. So my opponent played like normal and I could play anything that didn't target the board itself (so buff spells or targeted battle cries no but hero powers or AoEs yes) but I never saw anything happen on the board. Every time I killed the app and resumed the game it would be updated but happening again.
