Everyone who has voiced interest in the expansion has been wondering about the guilds that they can roll with. Some are looking for fresh starts, some are looking for transfers.

We're what happens when all of the loot whores and drama queens ditch a fledgling raiding guild for greener pastures, and the core members refuse to give up and do the same. Since going from an MC guild to a guild that could barely fill an UBRS run last fall, we've found enough other cool people that we're able to run 20-mans in-guild, and MC as part of a guild alliance. Looking ahead to the expansion, we'd like to pick up a few more people, to be able to run the 25-man content independantly. We're not a hardcore raiding guild, nor do we want to be. All we ask of new recruits is that you know how to play, and don't bring any drama to our drama-free paradise. Transfers and rerolls welcome.

Shattered Oath and Blackmoon Tribe (a more RP-oriented guild) have been raiding together since late 2005. We cleared up to C'thun pre-BC and have finished off Karazhan and Gruul's Lair so far. We're focused on progressing at a steady pace, while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Interested parties should be warned that your chance of becoming a raider with us is slim (unless you're a paladin), given the new raid size relative to our current raid pool. A lot of the guild isn't aware of our PA forum origins, but we keep plenty of the cocksdickslol going still.

Why PvP? Because way back when the guild was founded (at the original retail release), there was a PA-based PvE guild, Cardboard Tube Samurai (RIP), and several forumers wanted a guild on a PvP server.
Server: Sargeras
Obsidian Spur is now the longest standing Penny Arcade forums-based guild. Sadly, our Alliance counterpart on Sargeras barely survived six months past release. Also sadly the PvE Cardboard Tube Samurai recently kicked the bucket, too. PA forumers are always welcome and will find a guild where our "unique" senses of humor are welcomed and encouraged.

Why [PvE]? - Because we prefer to choose when to PvP

If anyone's looking for a Horde raiding guild as a transfer, we're REALLY looking for good people, pretty much anything but melee DPS. Halfway through SSC. Handful of forumers. Summer is taking its attendance toll, and we're always cutting it really close with the size of our raiding pool anyway (we don't like the idea of fifteen people sitting out every night). Somehow no one on ED Hordeside is interested in raiding anymore, or the ones that are are just staying in their Karazhan guilds, so recruitments posts go nowhere.
