Day Two- Crunchy Chocolate Shell
“We’re doomed” came the cry of the scoops.
“no, not really I’m right here” came the calm and steady voice of the one who felt so bold.
“huh? Who are you? You taste slightly different…”
“no, really. I’m who I always was. You’re just tastebud confused.”
But further discussion of who the what and the where they were and the why was quickly tossed to the side, as the lights within the shop went dark, and the chaos consumed.
The blender whirred to activity, but in all the shuffle, there was very little that anybody could really agree on. Nobody could tell what any of the other scoops tasted like any longer. There was only the Blender, and the smoothly processed results to help them see. Gizzy was the first to go missing into the deep hole of the blender. A quiet cry, and then the noise of the blender again.
But there was no silence with this one, only the delighted laughter of villains and their leader, happily tossing two more unsuspecting into the Blender. Infidel and Locus both met their sweet and creamy ends, holding ice crystals on the way down to the silvery blades.
“I told you who I was yesterday” A fourth scoop, lostninja so soft and sweet, met an ignoble end. Not even the Blender for them. But the bath of boiling hot fudge, and then the permanent sealing behind the chocolate shell of silence.

Okay, back home for a bit, and while I was waiting for the service guy, figured I could hop on here real quick. Just wanted to check in and apologize again about having to bow out so suddenly. Sorry, everyone.
Unfortunately, it's going to be another day or two before everything's back to normal, so it looks like I made the right call pulling the rip cord when I did, rather than scrambling to get submitted yesterday and hoping it'd just be an overnight situation.

So, Gizzy was village. The last half of the vote last night was decently contested. A 3-way tie with 2 votes each, then Gizzy and ebum took a slight lead, and then like 3-4 votes for Gizzy all in a row (with me actually leading that ). Then a few one-off votes at the end, including MamaWolf going for someone else not in the lead.
Based on that, I think the last-minute self-vote Wildcat did near the end is the thing that looks the worst. Self-votes are pretty bad in general (they give the village no info) and this was worse than most.
I voted Gizzy because they literally voted me prior. I had no other information so it seemed as good a choice as any. Then all the other votes for Gizzy rolled in. 😬
