A more interesting take on the subject of "group stalking" would be a story about how someone came to understand they have a mental illness that severely alters their perception of reality and how that person was able to receive help. Because I imagine that not being able to perceive reality the way everyone around you can would make seeking help yourself near-impossible. The idea of "I'm the only one that knows the truth" is a well-worn trope in thriller films.
Here's a comic that is both very interesting and hard to read for long stretches. It's about what the Élan School in Maine was like before it was finally closed down in 2011. It's also a legitimate case of "no one outside knows the truth.":
I haven't even been able to complete reading it yet. I have to take frequent breaks. Content warning for violence and psychological torture.
OK, I just now got to the last page of this comic and in fact it has more pages coming. The current page is not one of the "things are getting better" pages. I guess I should take comfort in the fact that the author is alive and able to write this comic, but goddamn this thing gives me a heart attack.
Edit: Just found out he's on Tapas, so I subscribed to his comic there.

I don't think I ever have met Zay!
That post did get me reading some of Targ again, and I have to say I find this part of the delusion charming:
That means that these folks either never noticed before how often other drivers are complete assholes, or prior to this they lived a charmed life where the assholes were luckily not on the road while they were driving. I wonder how many of them lived in small towns that received a population boom due to a rising industry or new company entering the town, so they didn't know what high traffic was like before this. Or maybe its something even more small scale, like a regularly trafficked road being closed for construction for a couple of years leading to their regular route becoming intolerable.
The reason Targ brings up the boxed-in traffic is to explain to his boss why he's late, then the boss threatens his job because of how often he's late. What this comic is really describing is the horrors of capitalism and bosses who fire people for being late instead of trying to help someone who may be experiencing a problem in their life are the worst. Especially if they are working an office job and it makes zero difference what time they come in.
It's actually my webcomic and Zay is posting it on my behalf
Do you have an actual link to it then? I was curious and wanted to see more but couldn't.
After some googling, here it is. https://www.transformation.dk/www.raven1.net/targ.htm
Probably not an official archive, but you can read it all here (there's a missing page (15) that you can see in the pdf version).

I think echolocation works by the bat making a sound and listening for the echo of the sound bouncing off the environment and bugs in it to build a sonar-like mental map of the environment
Yeah that's like, textbook paranoid delusions.
I hope the author was able to get help. Paranoia is insidious though in the way your brain is convinced that you don't need help and suggestions that you should seek it or offers to give it are hostile ruses.
I lost a friend to such problems, sadly I don't know if he's even alive or dead anymore. Got forcibly checked into a hospital a few times but refused treatment so there was nothing they could do for him.

The most well-supported theory for why several different moth breeds developed hearing and the ability to make sounds (at least 3 moth families have independently developed this ability to different degrees) is that it's anti-bat hardware. Hearing to know if bats are around, sounds to confuse bat echolocation with false telemetry. Also, moths probably have fur because it works like sonar camoflage (fuzzy fur surface = softer return than hard exoskeletons).

I assume the comic is something someone dealing with a paranoid episode wrote

I could absolutely see this one being an SMBC and people hating it.

How else do bats find them?

I think its a good illustration of the difference tbh
