Yeah it really does. Might be the first game Grumps adjacent game I can enjoy.
I enjoyed what of Sovet Jump Game I played, though it might be a bit ... uncomfortable to play now.
Being a multiplayer-only game it was always going to have a limited shelf life. Unless you're the likes of Counterstrike or an unexpected smash hit like PUBG, your servers are destined to be dead within a couple of years.
A good start, I enjoyed this first episode. I wonder how much of this game they’re going to do. Obviously not everything, I’m sure a lot of the side quests will not be done.

I mean, I'm sure they will beat it at least. They did with BotW. I imagine they will do all the main story stuff and then whatever rando stuff they bump into on the side that they feel like doing.
Aw man I was really hoping to get into their Tears of the Kingdom run but in the first video Arin's voice is super raspy... Like when someone's sick and/or getting over something. And boy does that trigger my misophonia. I guess I'll have to skip a few episodes and see if it gets better.

I think the most recent episode was the last of this recording session, so we'll have to see if he sounds better after this one.

They need to have someone say “You must die!” Then it would be perfect.
Someone notably says "Good!" in the trailer, so I feel like the reference jokes are inevitable. I'm just wondering if this will become a Sharknado thing where they try TOO hard and it becomes much less funny as a result.
Honestly, time has lost all meaning to me for the last four years or so.
As for the Grumps, I sort of missed a lot of recent episodes because I haven't played Tears of the Kingdom yet and don't want to be spoiled. But the recent The Shield episode was honestly a classic.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

I'm holding off on the TOTK vids too because I'm mid playthrough.
The Shield vid is one I'm excited to finally today though.
Feels weird for YouTube to celebrate 11 years, but I guess that’s because this would be Danny’s 10th year.

lmao is JonTron even around these days
I really loved those initial early times and thought they were infectiously funny, but also I would have thought him dropping off the deep end would have tanked his channel already

The only people I ever see promoting him any more are alt-right types.

The thing about JonTron is that he's at least wise enough to just make general interest internet comedy style videos, and he's good at that, so they are very popular. He saves his completely unhinged racist conspiracy theory stuff for random Chud podcasts and Twitter posts.

He has had no real connection to Game Grumps since his departure but he still does the same kind of videos he did before he started with Game Grumps, is lavishly sponsored to do so and still gets several million views per video. The main thing compared to his alt-right contemporaries is that he's smart enough not to say the quiet part out loud(well, not too loud) so he's still doing more than fine. I would not be surprised if the vast majority of his viewer base isn't even aware of his viewpoints compared to anyone on say these forums.

Yeah I get the sense that his cultural footprint is large enough on the internet that people online will occasionally make a Flex-Tape reference without any awareness whatsoever about the person behind it all
I don't know who this Dad Bod guy is but these intros are not making him look like someone I should look into. Phew.
Related: These Tears of the Kingdom videos are wonderful. I miss these long form videos where it's just a stream of consciousness coming from the boys.
I couldn’t find a video of the dad bod you’re mentioning, but I believe you’re talking about the guy who is called dad in some of their intros that they are touring with. It’s from an odd Youtube series that is currently ongoing. However, the guy is also well known for stuff like this:

Yea that game looked cool. But unfortunately I am not really into platformers and especially not into battle royale stuff.

Fun conversations.
It does honestly feel like it's been much longer.

Seriously, that’s it.
It’s gonna be a long ass playthrough.

If it’s the Vancouver show, I’m going to that one. I’m planning to cosplay as the captain from Endless Ocean 2.

Just watched this yesterday, recommended if you missed it.

Takes a bit to get going.
