I’m just a bit annoyed that he hasn’t gone all the way to the left and seen the ability store chao nor has he gone further to the left and find the rest of the available stages so that the challenges come available. But that is typical Arin. At least their conversations are entertaining.

2 minutes in to the Garfield episode and Arin went full “Oh you’re a fan eh, name 3 comics” and I shut it off.

    Yeah jesus christ Arin lol

I can't tell if Arin legitimately hates Garfield with every fiber of his being or if this is a bit.

    Dan: "What...why...why are you...so...angry?"

    EDIT:

Dan: "Oh, Allie has one...it's Garfield Minus Garfield."
    Arin: "That's augmented reality!"

Now Arin is just explaining the concept of Garfield Minus Garfield.

I'm kind of disappointed they didn't make it to Realistic Garfield.

I'm watching the Giraffe Town videos. I cannot believe that 5 minute long cutscene at the end of the first video.

EDIT: "Arin, I told you two things: call me the first time you do weed, and don't have edibles for your first time. Instead, you listened to Ross and fell off the edge of the universe."

EDIT 2: I looked up Giraffe Town on YouTube and apparently once you get past that absolutely brutal section Arin was stuck on the game doesn't feature anything like that again and is far easier. Very strange decision on the game maker's part.

Yeah, the game actually picks up quite a bit after that section. It's a shame he didn't think to cut that part down by an absolute ton. Arin wasn't even remotely close to the end - that's how stupid long it is.

It's one of those Streamer Games. I don't see the appeal, honestly.

That kind of stuff was fun years ago but I think it peaked at Getting Over It and the stupidly janky/broken/needlessy hard type of streamer game is just something I don't enjoy watching anymore.

As an Australian about to go on my first overseas holiday since the pandemic began, I've found the fast food tier list videos very informative. I may or may not be planning my trip based partially on what terrible American fast food I can get at each stop.

Except for the recent incident of a guy here jizzing into the milkshake mix while working overnight at an Arbys, I agree

Nah they're right. Arby's is hot garbage. But putting DQ up in A and then Denny's not in the trash... I question their views on food.

DQ is legit. Their chicken fingers and gravy basket is god tier. The ice cream is delicious. The burgers are pretty good.

    Denny's is trash tho, yeah.

I feel like a lot of these opinions are based on certain locations. My Arby's opinion in particular... The last time I went to the one near me (pregnant wife had the urge for a roast beef sandwich) there were dead bugs in the lobby all over the place. If they can't even clean the lobby then I know for a fact the kitchen is bad. That was years ago.

But I'll give the DQ food a shot. There's one near me but it just always seems grody when I'm in there just getting ice cream.

There's always garbage locations. I think every town has the "Worst" McDonalds. You all know the one. Usually they still have that 90's interior.

Yup fairly sure he's confusing it with some other place. Also, Qdoba is quite possibly the worst taco-based franchise.

I think them leaning on "ALL THIS FOOD IS SHIT LOL" got irritating after a while.

It's true to say. It's kinda like the inverse of why e.g. sports shows don't have disclaimers where the hosts go "By the way we know each and everyone of these athletes would destroy us in basically any athletic competition, never mind their chosen sport, but compared to others at their strata, they're bad." Anyone who needs reminding of that probably wouldn't be very insightful about the relative quality of athletic performance on display anyway.

I mean, that list is highly subjective and more than once they ranked something high because "it knows its terrible and that makes it great"

Don't go to waffle house or dennys or steak and shake. Do get a chicken sammich at popeyes.

Of the things on that list, Popeyes and Five Guys are S+. Arby's is good! It has really good sandwhiches! Just not the roast beef.

Portillos is also S+, but certainly more esoteric.

The one absolutely braindead take I remember is them talking about Chick-Fil-A sauce doing 100% of the work like five minutes after putting Cane's in the top tier.

Yeah the only reason you go to Cane's is because of the sauce. Shit is good.

I mean, Cane's sauce is better than the CFA sauce. The texas toast is also remarkable.

There's also the whole thing where Cane's doesn't support homophobic causes that makes the chicken ever better.

Oh man, this King's Quest playthrough by Brian and Danny was exactly what I needed. It has such different energy than when Arin's on.

Just, very chill, very relaxed vibes. And Brian is SUPER INTO solving the puzzles and is so earnest about it that it sustains me.

I hope they do more adventure games with these two.
