Since defeating Alex Shelley for the Independent Wrestling Championship in January, AC Mack has had a very quiet but impressive reign. He's defeated challengers such as Willow Nightingale, Alan Angels, Masha Slamovich, and Mike Bailey in order to hold onto his precious Iris.
Then on July 4th, during his State of Independents speech, AC Mack broke his promise to only defend the title in the Southeast and presented contracts to defend it in any promotion in the world. But his speech was interrupted by Masked Singer Season 2 winner RALPH, who was revealed to be Atticus Cogar! Atticus made his intentions to cash in his guaranteed title shot clear, and per Masked Wrestler judge Warhorse's choice it will be a Fans Bring the Weapons Match in what is sure to be AC Mack's toughest fight yet.
Triple H is leading up creative in WWE in place of Vince McMahon, and is talking to talent about it.
The move was announced on July 25, and at that night's WWE Raw tapings, the new EVP of Talent Relations and head of creative spoke at a talent meeting. Talent that we were able to speak with said that the meeting went really well, and there as a lot of optimism surrounding the change in creative from others in the company.
Triple H led the meeting and promised the talent transparency that some of them don't feel has existed under the previous regime. He also said that he wants open lines of communication between himself and talent. Waiting for hours for the opportunity to maybe speak to Vince McMahon had become commonplace in recent years, with face time with him dwindling. We were also told that Triple H said that he wants work to be fun.
We'll work to learn more from those who were at the meeting, but the general consensus has been positive.

It was when he decided to turn NXT into "Best of Super Indies" and basically abandon the idea of NXT as developmental. To be honest if I had access to WWE levels of cash and no requirement for a promotion to make a profit I could probably book a reasonably decent wrestling show.

I think there's still a lot of people who remember/understand that HHH is merely better than Vince McMahon. Like, that's kinda it. We might get treats like, hey no more wrestling for blood money in Saudi Arabia, and hey maybe good wrestlers will get pushed again and we'll see less Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns Part 87. We might even see more wrestling in their wrestling shows. That seems to me like probably one of the most immediate changes we might see.
He's still a guy who's willing to overlook sexual assault allegations and say weird creepy shit about female talent. He's still a guy who fucked over a lot of talent back in his heyday. He's still going to keep making shitty decisions that are just marginally less shitty than Vince's.
Much like TK is no hero, neither is HHH. They're just better than Vince McMahon, which is a bar so low that it has sunk into the earth and has been paved over and now you can just stroll through the uprights.
He also put together, with people like Sara Del Rey and William Regal, a damn good developmental promotion that grew popular enough to bring in lots of Indy talent and be the best part of WWE for the 2010s.
Triple H’s problems as a booker seemed to largely go away once Triple H was no longer on the roster he was booking for

I would say those dudes had far more booking problems than HHH it's just that they were surrounded by other NWA and WCW bookers who were like...openly racist old men who hated moves being done from the top rope.
