yea i'm turning this off because i literally cannot stand to listen to john smoltz for one more second if the phillies are going to play this bad as well.
it's just insane that this guy is the color announcer in the world series because he's so unbelievably terrible. it's baseball friend, you don't have to fill EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF THE BROADCAST with speaking. there are radio announcers for basketball who probably talk less than smoltz does in a baseball game.
The amount of "hey the Astros have been through a lot and they're really the better team anyway" coming out of the Fox announcing team when Smoltz isn't riding the line of "is this commentary or is it gibberish" is making me absolutely pine for Joe Buck and Tim McCarver and I honestly didn't think that was possible, we didn't know how good we had it.

in this case i doubt there's anything actually illegal just immoral. but they def should have had suspensions of some length, instead of receiving functionally no punishment except having to be managed by dusty baker.
