I actually just looked at the old border allied pains and they’re way more than I expected.
I got all the enemy ones when pioneer was announced, which seemed like a good idea until in person ended for two years and they printed actually good duals into the format
Edit: I just realized it’s going to be annoying thinking about standard decks with rotation and also weird not full cycle land option.
So you would need to concede before attackers are declared, otherwise the clause still triggers.
The first point is not quite true and gets into a place where you can have weird fights over how much of an action was completed.
Concession can happen at any time, including while an opponent is determining what to do during their declare attackers step, but attackers are not declared until they have chosen all attackers and what they are attacking. This means that you can take the supremely dickish action of conceding in response to an opponent indicating they will attack you with some of their creatures as long as they have not yet finished declaring the rest of their attackers. "I attack you with my commander, and then... hmm..." "I concede, you will need to re-declare who your commander is attacking" is a valid situation.
Now, that would be even more supremely dickish than other spite concessions and, as Jim says, it's not recommended because it creates a serious social problem... but it's not quite as simple as "if an opponent has moved to combat, you can't stop the trigger."
This kind of situation is why my favorite FLGS adds a house rule that concession can only happen at sorcery speed to any commander play more organized than the typical drop-in nights. I've never once been sorry that they do so.

We just did that a couple years ago. Zendikar Rising had 6 Pathways and then Kaldheim had the other 4. These will at least be complete by the end of the year.

Oh right I forgot that happened. That time I had the benefit of being completely checked out because of lockdowns
Is there a secret way to bypass the tutorial unlocks on Arena? I've been playing this game for decades, I don't want this tedium, I just want to play against people.

Not to my knowledge.

so, regarding the Compleation in the last story part/set previews, a secret lair from a couple years ago suddenly feels like some cheeky foreshadowing
a warrior struggling to contain the techno-organic virus taking over his body?
I think the main thing that makes losing half the cards in the game tolerable is that with no zendikar rising there's no more Scute Swarm, and thus no more 15 minutes of effects going off in Arena games while I go make a sandwich or something.

the original Elesh art is so iconic, and I can't think of a better choice for the new one than Magali, her pieces (especially female portraiture) are consistently iconic.

My pride in the mutltiverse cards arrived! Gave them to the boyfriend for an early birthday present, they look great and I'm so glad I didn't get foils cause the secret card came in foil and began to curl immediately upon unwrapping
An article on the official website says Aftermath is a small set, which I assume means it can't be drafted by itself. Blocks are back, in a limited capacity?
MaRo led vision design on both All Will Be One and March of the Machine. He specifically requested the assignment because the Phyrexians are his favorite villains in Magic. A comic book fan by his own admission, I'm not surprised he has a big hand in March of the Machine.

1 mana colorless flash "fuck you extra turns" is some of the most laser targeted hate I've ever seen printed

I feel like it's more of an edge hate card. No deck in standard that is worried about creatures is going to run that because if they're keeping mana up to drop that then they aren't playing creatures. Maybe it could be a sideboard card.
To truly be a hoser of extra turns cards, it should make it so you take the extra turns instead of your opponents. Put some fucking stakes into it, you know? Make them rue the day they forked that Time Stretch.

They should still get the extra turn but now you control it

And will there be a card per doctor or just one The Doctor card?

Stangg
Yeah thats how the card works
Back at common - better pick up those 4+ toughness creatures!
Come to think of it, Tamiyo was in that secret lair too. Vraska had better watch her back.
It's me, I'm MaRo's teaser now.

I hope Aftermath has the Aftermath mechanic.
Spoiler for big
Ugin's Nexus already existed (along with Stranglehold for red decks) but the anti-sweeper clause is interesting.
Well, anti some sweeper clause. Stops most black but only like half of whites.

Are you referring to mana cost or exile/destroy here?
Exile/destroy.
Sure, but nothing save counterspells and very specific things like Teferi's Protection stops those.
Also worth noting that returning artifacts & enchantments puts green's sweepers in range too.

they're spoiling those simultaneously with the main set right now
