Crystal Tower is at least fairly easy and quick. Always pumped to get the new alliance raids in roulette, though. Still need to see how the 3rd one closes things out, but just based on the two released so far, this is probably the best alliance raid series in the entire game. And Euphrosyne is easily #1. I'd probably go EW > ARR > ShB > SB > HW at this point for alliance raids. Shadowbringer's is close to overtaking ARR's, but I think the ShB ones are just enough of a slog sometimes to get through and ARR's are fairly snappy that it pushes ARR ahead. ARR's are basically a good introduction to the concept of an Alliance Raid and thus I think hold up fairly well.
SB is also kind of a slog but the whole Ivalice thing is at least pretty memorable, HW's Mhach stuff is just kind of muddled and uninteresting and other than sky pirates and Cait Sith, I could not tell you a single plot beat of that story.
Pandaemonium actually made the Ivalice raids relevant again. Like, "oh you thought this was just random crossover nonsense but GUESS WHAT"
Somewhat terrified they're going to manage to do that with NEiR...
Gonna be a bit more difficult to tie that in, since the events happened on the First.
I feel like we're almost certainly returning to the 1st at some point. Y'shtola is actively working towards that and she's been making progress with the stuff we're doing in the 13th. Probably not anytime soon, though.
I think they can write in a "y'shtola solved the problem and figured out portals between shards" as soon as we finish the void plot arc actually. Could happen as soon as the end of this expansion.

Spoiler warning for 6.5 patch preview stuff.
Literally the previews for the next patch show us back on the 1st, and Zero is there with us. Zero's a Voidsent, so she can cheat to a degree, but like. Y'shtola and Urianger blew a giant portal hole into the moon. Also, one of the whole Things about the Void is that you CAN get to the First from there (see: Caster DPS quests in ShB). So. Yeah.

IF GAIA DOES NOT SHOW UP IN SAID PATCH WE RIOT
The only problem with having Gaia show up is that they'd have to require the Eden quests. Of course, they probably will have to make those required eventually to advance things on the First, so.

Ah, I haven't looked at next patch preview stuff, would have been nice if this was marked as such, that would have been a nice surprise

His Ultima Thule speech is the one that really sticks with me as the type of speech that only he could have done and answered in such a convincing manner. He's arguing with an emotionless machine from a position of logic and can speak from personal experience about the points he is raising. None of it is aspirational or hypothetical. It is all practical experience and things that he has been wondering about himself based on his experiences. It's a great character moment because it really summarizes his growth and experiences that have occurred over the game.
All the other scions have similar moments in the zone, but G'raha is special in that he actually answers in a way that the opposing force of despair has no rational answer to, as opposed to just forming a crack in their argument and then overpowering their despair.
I liked him a lot in Shadowbringers, but I've really enjoyed what they've done with him since as well. He acts like his younger self most of the time, tempered by some experience, but there'll be moments where he reveal the full weight of his experiences.

Genuinely one of the best characters in the game. That voiceover he does at the end of 5.3 is still great every time I hear it.
When I was a boy, many long years ago, I yearned to stand tall as the heroes of eld. But like a fool seeking to pluck the stars from the heavens, my every attempt to reprise their deeds fell short. And then, one day, an all but forgotten dream from my youth stood before me, in the flesh. A hero who looked to the horizon and beyond, and saw I knew not what. All I knew was that I would give anything to stand at that hero’s side.
I see a lot of people shit on G'raha for what he pulled in the First, and I also see people who are pretty tired of the endless G'raha x Warrior of Light shipping that happens in the fandom, but like. Look. The whole point of the First is that he was a dude in an insanely fucked up situation doing his best. And as for shippers, like, he's not my personal jam but I get it! I find that way more understandable than all the people who wanna bang Zenos.

I'm all about the Y'shtola ship anyway. Gimme my sassy scholar catgirl in the rad clothes who you get to tease.

It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing... And take away its pain.

Yeah I guess I just didn't think they'd commit on the full body glams that hard-code breasts. Or maybe Omega-F doesn't do that? Maybe it's just Alma and Minfilia's dresses?
There are so many better options to unlock for both genders, but they go with Omega. Most of the complaints with that set are first and foremost that it's a model-replacement and not actual clothing(it gets pretty horror story on Elezen in particular), so this isn't the change that's going to get people using it.
I'm really glad that I decided to check how many gold pack-only cards that I was missing before jumping into spending tomestones on the Warrior of Light. I spent a bit of MGP instead and managed to pull WoL, among other things I needed. That's 100 tomestones that weren't completely wasted.
Rival Wings can be pretty fun and frankly it's far better than any of the Frontlines modes. However, blindly zerging at things is much less effective, so...
All I wanted this time around was the 100 tome hairstyle and the portrait frame. A little less than a week of a rotation of the different 14 tomestone alliance raids once per evening got me there.

That first middle scrum can get nasty. I had multiple games where the limiting factor on me dropping Skyshatters on a bunch of dudes was the cooldown.
