This is a really good guide for an Infinite-capable deck that only needs Sera (although it's much better if you also have Mysterio) from series 3: https://marvelsnapzone.com/control-sera-guide/
Of limited use to me because in general I'm not a very good control player, but it's a Very Good Deck, Brent.
Hmmmm
Sera control seems to work, but no idea when to snap.
With a linear deck, you just snap when you have the pieces.
With control, seems like you pray they play into you, so.. if you snap and they don't play into you, then sucks to be you I guess?
@ChaosHat Curious what your Sera Surfer deck is. If you wouldn’t mind posting it. Just to compare it to what I’m currently running.

Games like that are why I love having Watcher sometimes, like not clogging up your Sinister lanes and then letting loose, or when I see the Bar location that knocks you back and I wait to start spamming Debrii

You snap if you can counter them and win 4-8 cubes, and retreat if you can't for 1-2. Sera control is a deck for laddering, not a deck for getting a good winrate.

To piggy back on this, Sera Control (or any control deck really) is always going to require more of you mentally. You're going to have to understand the metagame and the possibilities of your opponent's deck better to even have a chance. You're not winning via an avalanche of points, you're winning by having a cost efficient silver bullet for their strategy.
It is different than say, Wong or Zola or Patriot where you do your thing, and if you do it you win, and if you don't you don't. Most people don't play tech cards, they play very greedy, so it's unlikely they're going to interact with you too much, but if you suspect they can, you scoop and you go next.
This isn't to scare anyone off, but just to let people know what to expect. You will probably have trouble snapping with this deck to start because a lot of the times your margins are going to be pretty thin. As you get better you'll see the play patterns emerging, and you'll be better able to snap.

Mantis is a perfectly fine card for what she is, which is a 1-drop for Dino before you get Agent 13. Some cards just aren't meant to come out past Pool 2
This is reinforcing my point that anyone who plays her enough to get the boosters to gold infinity split her is insane. It'd be like infinity split Uatu.
....... I absolutely Infinity Split Uatu like 2 or 3 times.
Granted that was back in pool 1/2.....
My puffy coat JJ has been split like 6 times and damned if I don't put her in nearly every deck, though she still seems viable in pool 3 in many matches.

So what's your copay like? I can chip in, or I'm pretty sure I can get you a BetterHelp coupon code from one of the podcasts I listen to.
Jessica Jones definitely remains a good card, especially with Zabu.

I got better! Just not until like.....midway through pool 2. I nearly split Domino as well....
I probably will buy the season pass just so I don't have to choose between JJ and Vampire Jubilee on turn 4 (or to drop Wong and Mystique on turn 5).

Hey, Domino is very good in Agatha and Surfer decks so she's not nearly as questionable.
There also may yet be cards that make old bad cards good, so I may look dumb in the future when everyone is calling for Mantis nerfs. The number of cards that are truly awful and have literally no home is pretty small. It's mostly just Mantis, Uatu, and move cards (HAHA SUCK IT MOVE FANS).
Also, cards on the table, the cards Hat has split the most: Carnage (4), Black Panther, Nova, She-Hulk (3), Death, Tasky, Zola, Armor (2)
move should be about playing some dudes early and then shuffling them around like you're trying to cup and balls huckster someone on the street but instead it's just about you grabbing a bullhorn and going "HEY I'M GONNA THROW ALL THESE GUYS TO THE LEFT ON TURN 6"
+2
ChaosHatHop, hop, hop, HA!Trick of the lightRegistered Userregular
I've disliked move since like, pool 2 or whatever because there's a lot of Multiple Man Hulk Buster oh boy you did the thing super cool and it's just really boring.
Yeah, Move decks need a better final card than Heimdall because it's soooo damn obvious what's coming, Move should be about chaos and swapping the board last minute but since it only goes one way it's too easy to see coming

Couldn't resist playing triple Dino, but apparently neither could they...
