MultiTopic: Mono/Mic

I am going to ask a couple questions about multiple topics, an answer would be awesome, thanks.

I had mono recently, the whole deal, missing school, huge tonsils, got an abscess behind the tonsils, couldn't breathe, surgery to remove said tonsils and abscess. I went back to school supposedly done with mono and all on May the 1st. This date is important and stuff.

This summer, on the 18th of June to be specific, I'll hike part of the Appalachian trail. 45 miles in 5 days, not quite 10 miles a day. I did it two summers ago, and it was very tasking and strenuous, as I'm not out of shape but not muscular or anything.

The question of this part is: Do you guys think thats a good enough time to recover fully from mono to be able to hike like that? I've been trying to get back to 100% normality by walking a lot, riding my bike when I can, things like that. I'm never too tired, but after a day of throwing a football, my muscles were pretty sore. Which can also be explained by the amount of times I was tackled or something.

Now for a question about microphones.

What are some good mics? I'm looking for a vocal microphone, preferably with a stand, with good-great quality.

Also, is there any way to be able to use a real vocal mic on my computer? Like some sort of changer cable thing? It would be pretty cool to record straight onto my computer.

Mostly what I need the mic for is concerts, I'll need some of my own equipment, including mics, so that is why I ask.

start walking carrying your pack and in your hiking shoes. This will get you used to the activity.
