I'm greatly looking forward to this one. You play a well-animated mundane cat in a cyberpunk world. What if Cyberpunk 2077, but you're a cat instead?

The biggest problem with this game is that if I play poorly the cat might get hurt and that is unacceptable.

Joe Maddon accidentally freaking out the front office when they call him in to fire him and he shows up looking like Travis Bickle
It’s even funnier than that—Perry said he visited Maddon at his home to deliver the news about his firing and the dude had a mohawk when he answered the door

i'm going to pick my dad up a mac mini for his birthday to replace the 2004 windows xp compaq presario that begs for death every time he turns it on

    has anyone used one before?

i assume the absolute basic 8gb/256gb will be good for like 5+ years for someone who will literally only use it to watch youtube and check his email?

my jerky recipe this time, for anyone wondering

    - 1 cup soy sauce
    - 1 cup teriyaki sauce (thin, not that thick sugary stuff, I love the thin stuff, I baste damn near everything with it
    - 2 tsp yellow mustard
    - 2 tsp homemade hot sauce
    - 1 cup water

shake well in the blender bottle and voila, sweet and spicy jerky with a kick of umami

@Tav Mine has 16GB/256GB and that's plenty enough for me doing software engineering nonsense. The base model is well enough for just youtubin'.

Generally I'd recommend 256 gigs minimum, but you know your dad better (I sure hope so!) and you can always hook up external storage.

I feel like 8GB is the one thing where I have concerns 5 years from now.

256GB is a problem solved by a USB4/TB external if he ends up needing more storage.

Those machines are pretty great. I feel like in the next few months we are going to see them with an M2 chip and 16GB minimum, so it all depends on how long you are willing to wait?

I feel like with the speed of the ssd for memory swapping it’s 8gb sure but it’s not reeeaaaally 8gb.

Edit: To which I mean it behaves in most cases like a pc with 16/32gb in performance.

yeah i'm not concerned about storage

his current computer has like, a 3.5gb hard drive in it or some shit

i really cannot emphasise how much he hates replacing things, he'd still be driving his 88 ford focus if insurers here didn't basically put a 15 year age limit on cars

16 gigs would absolutely last 5+ years, 8 gigs is only very highly likely, so do with that info as thou wilt. Either way, it's a great little machine and I can't wait for your dad to somehow destroy it.
