I know that all too well! Damn stairs trip ya both ways!
The small nameless mining town existed on the outskirts of space. There was nothing else on their planet that they knew of. Just an endless desert and some ore. The best of which was taken by the awful royalists. They taxed the town until there was nothing of value left. Then they taxed the town until they were on the brink of starvation. Suddenly they left. The townsfolk were too tired to cheer. Could they rebuild their life with the scraps they had left? Or would they succumb to the elements. And what of the criminal element the royalists said they were keeping away? Would they come back? What about legendary monsters made of a nonmetallic substance? Did they exist? It was a going to be a rough week for the simple suspicious people of the mining town.
Game has officially started. The first day will end in 26.5 hours. There are currently NO replacements so failing to be present will kill you.

When I was but a young robot pup we didn't need anything other than a good can of elbow grease! I used to buy mine from the tool shop down on 5th street, before they changed the name to Margaret street. I never did like that Magaret but she knew the right people and back then it was all about who you know, so she got the street named after her. I thought they should have named it Dune street, because when you stood in the middle of it you could get just the best view of some sand dunes to the east. This was before the sand dunes were declared illegal and mined down to nothing. We had to use a lot of elbow grease to dig all those mines, but we were always told it was worth it. I used to buy my elbow grease from the local tool shop down on 5th street!
