Well as I predicted I snagged a flawless in solo queue but both PC and Console pool has been rough on this map. I'm at 71 wins and 45 losses, after a while all those Ls start to take a toll on my mental health lol. The map is just so, so finicky and we lost to atleast a few teams just turtling so far back with jade rabbit and snipers. Not fun really.
The only really big thing is I finally dropped the ghost which was nice.
Ah, I got a couple or so of that general type of ship. Honestly, if you dig it, fly it. That's why I usually cruise in my Arcadia unless I'm giving the seasonal ship or one or two other faves a turn.
Like the Tex Mechanica ship (often equipping it's Sparrow counterpart The Bronco at the same time).
I'm still using Captain Nemo. No idea where it came from--dates from before the move to F2P--but I tend to either go "sentimental reasons" or "this looks cool with my overall aesthetic". (Unless I just want to whip out all the old SRL gear at once.)
I dunno what it is. But arc warlock is the only warlock I can use in pvp. Arc buddies is just a passive game changer for the whole team. I dunno if i play well or if it just acts as a team booster which leads to more personal success?
Very excited about arc 3.0
But I tried battle harmony with arc bow for one shot kills and it doesn’t work out well. Not long enough activation to see much use.

In more fun crucible non meta builds. Tricksleaves with forerunner and a lightweight sidearm on bottom tree arc hunter is a blast. You have the speed and annoyance of a stompees but you can go airborne and just destroy people. And the dodge resistance buff combined with the speed makes you survive things you really shouldn’t
When arc 3.0 comes and I get decent nades to go with this build and whatever other buffs they have in store it’s going to be a ton of fun
In case anyone, like me, went "eh sure I'll grab a DMT" be warned that the reload will make you want to chew an arm off. It is awful. Naturally, the catalyst dropped on the first strike after I got it.
If you mean Dead Man's Tale, simply hunter dodge to reload
Difficulty: Warlock. I'll gently float over to getting right on that...
Though on the warlock note, if anyone hasn't tried a Cerberus+1 as a high-resilience void warlock w/ devour, may I heartily recommend it? Run at enemy, hold down trigger; it's real enjoyable, and you're real hard to kill, too...

It's not so bad if you're good with precision-shots. If you're a Warlock, having Ophidian Aspects on can help out a lot with reloads. That or a reload-mod.

Put on Transversives and just run around a bit, assuming you can get those darned Ophidians off your arms!

Well there's an idea. I'd have to take off my Necrotic Grips though, and that idea just makes me kind of sad... Maybe I should dig up a non-shitty Ophidian roll, too.

Necrotics are fair to middling for PvP imo, despite being very fun, it's not often that you get to proc the perk in most matches. Ophidians are quite the crutch, they make any gunfight better and the melee range boost is real dumb too.

Ah see, I'm Gambit at best until some SBMM goes in; if I'm going to scrap, I want to do it against people as bad as me so we all have a chance, you know? Necrotic + any of the lock ranged melees is hilarious in PVE I'm finding, plus it's my only masterworked exotic. (TBH that's most of my reluctance.) But it's a good idea to get a pair I think, if just for the gun benefits.

Well if you're gambiting, pair it with Osteo Striga and cackle while everything dies in clouds of poison

Oh I dooooo yes I do.
I may be crap at killing other players, but I will kill the shit out of that pack of unsuspecting mote-carriers yes I will.
(And Ima also buy a Symmetry, one because it looks COOL and Fashion and two because that looks fuckin' hilarious and if it's anything like Jotunn )
So, I finally got to a point in the Witch Queen campaign where I felt like I could start the current season. I started last night and had to change to a second character to replay the season opener mission. I'm 100% sure I just bailed out of it when I picked the game back up, so it was new to me, but there's no way to replay it once you exit. Followed up with one of the public event on the Leviathan. I am solidly "meh" on the event. Then I did the first Sever mission. Holy Crap! The writing there is sooooo good!! I want to just charge through them to see where this story goes, but I'm going to force myself to take them at a reasonable pace.
I did close out the first week's worth of challenges in a single night though, so that's something.
In other news, I bought Ticcu's Divination bow. I think it's ... not good? Slowly working my through the catalyst quest but I'm really not feeling like this is a great weapon - a Strident Whistle with Incandescent outclasses it in nearly every way.
I think the big deal with Ticuu's is the seeking arrows. I keep debating it, but I have an exotic arc bow already, and don't see myself liking bows enough to have two atm. Going to grab Symmetry 'cause Arc SR with seeker rounds, which should be fun next season, assuming that's Arc 3.0.
Besides, for Solar specials, I can't get over how much fun Jotunn is. It's just... It's so good. I'm sure something's more effective, but IDC.

Symmetry is...not great. Ticcu's isn't life changing but it is way more special than Symmetry is right now.

Edit: Really, I prioritise "unique and fun" over "omg so broken insert streamer headline here"; otherwise I'd just grab a Witherhoard with that cipher. Symmetry looks cool, seems reasonably effective, and I have hopes for arc seekers next season. And full-auto SRs are probably one of my favorite archetypes, besides.
My take on Symmetry is that it is a extra-low damage arc rocket launcher that only can be fired after pre-charging. I'd take Riskrunner or Trinity Ghoul over Symmetry any day of the week. Heck, I might even consider a Night Watch (kinetic scout from the New Light questline) or a good rolled Eternal Blazon (Vanguard world drop ugh - ask me about my quest for a good rolled Strident Whistle).
Or even Thunderlord which is amazeballs from a "unique and fun" perspective. Lightning kills all the things!
If Ticcu's seeking arrows did more than just tickle things it might be worthwhile. I mean, I'm not looking for insta-killing three enemies from range, but I can single tap three things from range (and do AE damage to everything nearby on top of that!) much faster with a non-exotic. I'll probably finish off the catalyst and then toss it in the bottom of my vault forever.
Symmetry in PvP is basically scoutrifle Hawkmoon. Does the same kind of thing more or less. In PvE it's probably better anywhere you'd want to take a scoutrifle.
Ticcu's is really strong but you need to get the rhythm of the weapon. You basically flick fire the first round to tag things and then follow up with a headshot to explode them. You do not need to and shouldn't do a full draw for that first shot. And after you get the catalyst if you can just land headshots over and over again it also does a ton of damage to beefy targets.
Ticcu's is also one of the go-to weapons for when we get bow champ mods and you need solar damage.

I'm having a hard time telling if the "and Bungie takes the weekends off" in that video was supposed to be a dig or not
It's especially funny because Bungie has already blocked this.
Granted, they turned off ALL text chat, which feels extreme, but it is a pretty shitty bug.
*High pitched squeeling* I got the shiiiip
I won't lie, if there's one thing that actually makes me consider Trials, it's that jumpship.
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
PS if anyone has not got a Jotunn, get a Jotunn. This is hilarious and occasionally effective, albeit so insanely ammo-hungry.
Which one is that? Could you show a pic?

Possibly, stand by...

Best ship.
(Best ship in town.)
Yeah, me too. We need like ‘Sparrows 3.0’ where you can just plug in whatever perks you like onto whatever appearance you want.
Still don't bother changing it up that often since the remaining perks are all really situational.
Just buff all sparrows to that speed WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING BUNGIE JUST DO IT

Wait, what? "Takes less time to summon" is a no-op perk now? Ima test this...
SON OF A BITCH. Well at least this means I can break out my SRL sparrow and auto-reload + barrel roll again.
When arc 3.0 comes and I get decent nades to go with this build and whatever other buffs they have in store it’s going to be a ton of fun
Also I should probably get forerunner catalyst
Yeah, instant summon was the only perk anyone took so they made it baseline.
Now auto-reload is the only perk worth taking but it's slightly less mandatory so it's not as big a deal.
Edit: JUST GIVE ME THE GRAVITON CATALYST.
Difficulty: Warlock. I'll gently float over to getting right on that...
