I thought Andy Serkis was already fantastic on Andor and last week's end line was spectacular, but it was his line on this week's episode that broke me.

Series finale of The Good Fight was a hell of a thing. After a bombastic penultimate episode, the finale was, by comparison, somewhat quiet and subdued. It took the very heightened, clearly black and white world it had spent several seasons building and didn't discard it entirely (because this episode was suitably bonkers in some ways), but it added a lot of commentary about real, complex people and our complicated relationships with them. It spent a long of time on a handful of very honest conversations, and dwelled on the idea of hedonistic adaptation. It also still managed to be funny as hell, because the Kings are apparently still at the height of their power.

The Good Wife puts the pedal down and just never fucking lets up.
Watched all of the english last night, god damn that's a show that didn't turn from the brutality of the time period or what people did to each other. I hadn't heard of Chaske Spencer before, but I hope he gets a lot more work after this, he was fantastic.

damn but that was a gutsy performance by Andrew, it's everyone's dream to daily double every chance they get so seeing someone do it and win big is awesome.
Sad to see Mattea go but this is going to be a hell of a finals.

I watched the first two episodes of this season of Mythic Quest. Two really strong episodes, and still my favorite portrayal of a creative partnership on TV.
The best part might be that they’ve committed to writing Brad as Garak from DS9, and it works. Because he’s just a simple tailor janitor.

So I’m watching the newest MST3K episode where they watch a movie called the Bubble. The mads make a big thing at the start about it being worse than Manos and I’m like whatever. Even Joel is dismissive.

Like. I am actually in pain watching this. Like the premise is okay but the execution is so bad. Just long pointless lingering shots of nothing. Inexplicable cuts and scene changes. Actions made by characters that make no sense.

Wait. THAT WAS HOW IT ENDED?!? Are you fucking kidding me? I’ve never seen a movie that did a worse job of explaining anything. Zero questions were answered. M. Night Shyamalan movies look like Oscar worthy high art compared to this! Holy shit.
