https://gizmoplex.com/browse they basically made their own website/portal from the last kickstarter for season 13. it doesn't look like they have any subscription options, its either rent or buy the season. there is 150 episodes of season 1-10 to watch for free though. I think eventually they plan to add other options to watch the new stuff.
The ones he outright named are Jayro Bustamante (La Llorona 2019), Issa Lopez (Tigers Are Not Afraid), Boots Riley (Sorry to Bother You) and Larry Fessenden
Watching Home Improvement as our "kids in the show" and as of season two Al Borland is 35...I'm now two years older than Al.
richard karn was 35/36 during that season, too. dude just looked way older, but the benefit there is he looks great for his age now
the downside is i went to his instagram and saw this and i don't know how to handle it

Oh hey, I had totally forgotten that Mysterious Benedict Society came back for S2 and I'm a couple episodes in and still loving it. I highly recommend it if you want some of that Lemony Snicket kind of vibe. It's not exactly the same, but it's got that stylish, kids are smarter than we think, creepy weird adversary, adults-who-are-well-meaning-allies-but-generally-not-helpful, kind of feel to it. Tony Hale is a lot of fun in it.

I’m way behind on it (just finished episode 5), but Andor is fucking remarkable.
Just for real one of the best things I’ve seen on TV in the last couple of years. It has such a unique style, and the pacing and attention each character gets is super impressive. It’s got a great story with thrilling stakes that would be totally lost in the bombast of most Star Wars media, but it gets the respect it needs to shine here.
Really just such a wonderful thing and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
Everything looks beautiful when you're young and pretty

It's saying a lot that in a show that is so good at turning out amazing, reprehensible villain characters time and again, Jackie Florrick was pretty consistently the character I hated seeing the most.
Why did no one tell me that the new season of Leverage started?!?! You had one job!
THERE’S ANOTHER ONE?!
I am immeasurably happy! Had no idea it got renewed for a second revival season.
I knew it got renewed but last time I checked there was no eta and then I see three episodes available on Amazon prime!
I think they dropped the three episodes at once, because I'm pretty sure they weren't listed last week.

I never really cared about the movie, but the trailer for the Willow show looked pretty good to me. Like the people making it actually know why people like fantasy and Willow, and aren't just grabbing a random fantasy IP and trying to ape GoT.
Madmartigan steps on the sword and drags General Kael down onto it
was easily the gnarliest thing my little 9 year old self had ever seen and I'm not sure I've ever really gotten over it.
But boy that movie whips, I'm going to wait to see if the show's any good and if it is I'll probably finally watch Willow with my kids and then the show.

Willow/Early Edition were THE big hero things for me as a kid.
I am so excited for Willow.
I don't have a lot of stuff I get nostalgic for, for a variety of reasons, but Willow was like... the movie.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor My new novel: Maledictions: The Offering. Now in Paperback!
I do think its kind of funny the new willow show looks so good, but man the movie really didn't age well. I watched it recently and problematic is being kind. It also feels mega rushed, like it was supposed to be a longer story and just wasn't.
Still hopeful the new show is awesome!
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
I don't remember anything about the movie, but I do have a somewhat distinct memory related to Willow. I was a child (sometime before 4th grade because I remember which house we were in) and I was really upset about something or other and wouldn't come out of my room. My parents went to the store and rented a VCR and a few movies including Willow. I went out to the living room, watched Willow and was happy again. I don't think I was that into the movie, but I appreciated that my parents would do that for me.

I just remember I've posted that story before. Oh well!

I still find Jonah Ray very off putting, but Emily and the return of Joel have been fantastic.
So it’s basically exactly what I expected.
Luckily there's new Mythic Quest, White Lotus, and Dan Levy's brunch cooking show to catch up on.

Never stop fantasy-ing.
but Willow occupies this perfect childhood-shaped space in my head
But Willow was definitely part of it.
