    I'm half convinced at this point that there is a centuries old conspiracy to besmirch the reputation of the illuminati given how they were mostly interested in spreading reason and logic over superstition and religious zealotry.

    I mean, yes? That's pretty much historically correct.

    You can trace those attacks through the various Christian churches. Lutheran and Catholics in particular hated the idea of anyone else having intellectual clubs promoting the sciences. Let alone engaging with the burgeoning middle and merchant classes with their rising economic strength.

    In this case the singular is the same as the plural! Isn't it great? 1 Wittelsbacher, 2 Wittelsbacher. But only for the male version. for the female version it's 1 Wittelsbacherin, 2 Wittelsbacherinnen.
