Gift Get!!!
A tremendous haul from my Santa (images spoiled):
-My wife was with me as I was opening it and got to see me laugh out loud as I hit the Roast Beef Decision Making flowchart; all three of those prints (signed by Onstad! ) are getting framed and going in my garage and office, and the bag is great!
- I adore Becky Chambers and her Monk and Robot books are the only things of hers I haven't read yet, so I'm super excited, and Legends and Lattes looks adorable.
- The spices look incredible (my wife immediately popped up with ZE BAY LEAF hardbass style) and will be enjoyed.
- The Oaklandish stickers are dope and are already earmarked for my Nalgene and my garage workbench
- And maybe sweetest of all, they included a very gracious card with a note to me, and all of the Oakland swag included a donation to a local food kitchen, which I'm very, very grateful for.
All of this is incredible, thank you so much!!

I got a really awesome looking recipe book from @Casual Eddy! I would post pictures but the recipe book is at home and I'm in the long waiting period portion of my wife's (scheduled, everything looking good) induced labor, so I can't exactly run home right now.
I have received the wayward gifts along with another gift! I will post everything tomorrow. I meant to do it today but then LIFE.

I really like that the cookbook has recipes not just for dishes, but ingredients and staples as well. Southern cooking is not in my particular wheelhouse, having grown up in the Mid-Atlantic Seaboard, but what I saw looked delicious.
Be on the lookout for another box @AngelHedgie ! It's delayed due to weather but should be there today or tomorrow (according to the tracking)....
Some of what's in there you'll be familiar with if you know mid-Atlantic cuisine... but a lot of it maybe not. Brock is out to revive pre-Civil War food and recipes that were lost, and that includes a lot of west-African influences, techniques, and foods that were disappeared for reasons. (it's racism. The reasons are all racism. Well, racism and mass-production anyway.) But his stomping ground is Charleston and the Carolinas coast, so you might've run across a bit of what's inside. Hope you enjoy it!

Alright, I have been gone for 2 weeks and basically living on the edge of civilization in northern Minnesota where it was -25F/-32C yesterday morning. I'm honestly speechless cause every one of these is amazing. I originally planned to go into the video game industry and still love reading about it, so Blood Sweat and Pixels and Press Reset look like fantastic reads. I loved What If? so I'm super jazzed to read through What If? 2! Overcooked 2 has been on my want list for a long time and will be fantastic to play with my girls, along with the Minecraft Legos. In the center is a handy light clip for my creeper when working on cars, which is going to be tremendously useful. I used to have a book very similar to Muscle & Chrome which I gave to a friend back when I was in high school, so I'm very excited to have a book like this again to flip through.
And finally, Nessie and a model Camaro 1LE! I don't know if you knew this, but I just purchased a Camaro 1LE a few months ago, my first-ever new car. So I am absolutely floored with this one, and I'm going to be running down to the local auto parts store to get some color-matched red spray paint and make it matching before I put it together.
Glad you enjoyed, and glad I was able to get you a wide variety of stuff. I was trying to figure out a good practical car gift and my wife helped there by pointing out that regardless of what tools you already have, you can probably benefit from the flashlight mount; worst case if you already had one, you now you have two light sources when doing work!

Cribbage is a game that has been big in my family (I got my father a custom board as a gift for him when I got married), but that I never learned to play. So I think this provides an opportunity to learn.
As for the thermometer, I know the value of a good one in the kitchen as I have several I use, so this will reinforce the arsenal.

Last year one of my fav comic artists Stepan Sejic released an incredibly horny n' NSFW book named Fine Print, which I loved. Turns out his wife Linda Sejic wrote a companion comic: Punderworld! They all keep their clothes on in this one, alas. But it's no less pretty or well written.
...but what's that underneath the book? It's a Lego set!
The Tallneck from Horizon Zero Dawn Forbidden West! This one's been on my wishlist for a while, it looks incredible. Especially love the design for the Aloy minifig;
