Now that Yoru's bearing arms, does this fix Asa's missing arm problem as well?
Denji will be in the unique position of knowing what a hand job with a tank feels like

Chapter 176
I wonder if any other devils would be considered War's children...polearms, bows, and arrows were developed as hunting tools, axes and knives for crafting. Sword and Bomb probably, but they seem out of reach right now. Crossbow Devil might count, though it's probably not very powerful anymore. Missiles are dangerous but aren't as viscerally terrifying as other weapons, and like War itself the erasure of nuclear weapons must have done a major hit to their capacity for existential dread.

So would I be reading a bit too much into things if
CSM 176
I were to assume that if Tank and Gun are the children of War, then it follows that most other weapon devils would also be children of War, which makes me think that she could just have easily called for Bomb as Tank, which would indicate Fujimoto either has specific plans of the return of Reze, or he just doesn't want to even acknowledge her again yet in case he does come up with a plan for using her.

yeah I think that'd be reading too much into it, but maybe!

I think that those are the two that are the most powerful and still in the real world

Chapter 177:
Well, that's one way to solve gun violence in America.
Maybe this is why Reze hasn't been brought back like Katana Man, the bomb devil seems more apt than the tank devil so she'd have likely been taken for Yoru's arm.
I think that a sacrifice is being made to unlock one of Gun Devil's powers, being probably a Really Big Gun in the statue of liberty
Simultaneously I think Chainsaw Man is associating the blood drive with power, but the degree to which he is doing that consciously versus abstractly and instinctually is as ambiguous as the rest of his characterization during this time.

he's looking for blood to regenerate himself, I don't think it has anything to do with Power.
The aftermath was horrifying, but that was pretty cool.
Another hell of a cliffhanger.
It was very reminiscent of the devastation unleashed by Gun during Season 1, and even Yoru was surprised at the fallout.

Ah.
THERE’S the Fujimoto flair I was waiting for. Absurdity, absolute absurdity! Ha ha ha GUT PUNCH

Never change, Denji/Chainsaw Man. Too good.
Yoru/Asa paneling continues to be masterful.
That's not an ominous cliffhanger at all. Sheesh. Old Age Devil has no one to talk to!

I'm a little confused about
the whole 'you fear me' Asa/Yoru dynamic, unless I forgot something...
Also, I knew Pochita wasn't going to sell out kids for the Age Devil. Take that, haters.
About
If you recall during the Falling Devil arc, Yoru loses control of Asa's body when she's overwhelmed by fear. Yoru was surprised she lost control of Asa's body, because Asa was overwhelmed by her fear of Yoru herself. It's possible Yoru didn't expect that was possible.
i don't think it was an intentional trick really, Yoru's, uh, not sufficiently burdened by intelligence for that. Emotional or otherwise.
I do love how much Asa and Yoru's argument feels like someone arguing with themselves.
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

That has nothing to do with it.
She doesn't have to be a person for that to be an accident. We've already had it shown that devils can feel human analogue emotions in this story.
I don't read that interaction as one human is hurt by another human. I read it as Yoru, an alien intelligence, was essentially surprised twice, and reacted quickly when it turned out to her advantage.
That panel of surprise when she gets the body back is displayed too intentionally for premeditation to make sense. This isn't an author with unnecessary panels.
Morninglord on
(PSN: Morninglord) (Steam: Morninglord) (WiiU: Morninglord22) I like to record and toss up a lot of random gaming videos here.
I’m pretty sure Yoru’s reaction was genuine, not a trick. She’s been gradually coming to see herself and Asa as having some kind of camaraderie at this point, so Asa being afraid of her is something she seems to take as something of a small betrayal. I think that for Yoru, it’s effectively like Asa is letting down her end of their partnership, particularly at the crux of the whole thing that Yoru feels they’ve been working towards ever since she saved Asa.
I’m not sure she actually means that she’s legit emotionally hurt, but the interaction there reads as her being particularly petty about Asa getting cold feet about the whole plan now, of all times. She’s at the very least legitimately frustrated, annoyed and a getting a bit pissed. I think it’s meant to read as being somewhat sardonic in how she’s expressing that frustration. Then she’s surprised that her pettiness is the thing that actually gets Asa to let her take the wheel again, and she tries to drive the proverbial car off the ramp over a gorge while she’s still got said wheel in hand

Much simpler explanation that doesn't have to bend over to explain an out of character sleight of hand, so I'm gonna roll with that.
