I love approximately 1/2 of everything Ron Paul says. It's too bad about the other half. Yeah -wtf was that about pre-emptive nukes?

I feel like McCain has made a terrible showing and that Romney has done most well. The 'lower tiers' are pretty lame.

    It's kind of sad.

Apparently real conservatives veto things. The soul of conservative leadership is to say "no".

    Just say no.

Romney, you want English as the official language. What's with all the Spanish campaign material?

    Romney: "I love legal immigrants."

Great, great. That wasn't the question.

Christ, Ron Paul actually made sense. Too bad he's ostracized by his own party.
It’s actually not that bad that he’s ostracized.

I think the performances are stronger this time than last time.

It's too bad that there are so many candidates, because there are actually some pretty interesting disagreements among them.

I’ve been surprised several times so far, with the different people pushing plans the Democrats want.

One, fuck the east coast. Just got home from work and the debate is almost over.

Two, this debate like the dem debate still needs a gong. Just painful watching Wolf try to cut in over and over.

Three, agree with Shinto, the debaters are improved the same way the dems were on sunday.

Question: We got bitch-slapped in 2006. Tell me why 2008's going to be any different.

McCain: Earmarks. I'll veto every bill with earmarks.

Well, there's a broken campaign promise coming from a mile away.

Yeah, good luck getting anything done if you veto every bill with pork barrel spending.

Heh, and Guilliani says he turned around NYC... didn’t nexus say he left the city with a 4.5 billion deficit?

CNN, it would help if we could actually hear what the candidates are saying.

Conservative pundits (namely good ole Tucker) have been saying this for a while. It's a pretty unclassy tactic.

That's because the Republican's are sustained by rhetoric. It's a empty diet, and can't sustain a candidate, much less a party.

The custom is to call a politician by the title of the highest ranking office they held.

So John Edwards is still called "Senator Edwards" even though he is no longer in the Senate. Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter are still "Presidents Clinton and Carter".
